After a weekend of no sleeping just partying I needed to get some sleep tonight, so thank god for Jose boreminhou. He has turned a football club who are known for fantastic football to one of the most boring sides in the league. At this rate you can forget top 4 as spurs, city, etc are much better.

{Ed025's Note - lay off the drugs raver..

I didn't see anyone lauding him for playing an expansive attacking game against city and getting played off the park.

You live and you learn as a manager and you can't have it both ways.

Excellent away point against a team that's been playing extremely well against the best sides in the league, and given their schedule have an excellent shot at the title. Also, taking into account that we have 5 games in 2 weeks including Chelsea next weekend and then City in a cup game, it was a totally sensible approach. Was it expansive? Absolutely not, but over the next few weeks the key to maintaining a title challenge is to stay in touch with the leaders. We took a step in that direction today and I guarantee you Liverpool and Klopp are the more disappointed. I would not be unhappy if we get the same result at Stamford Bridge.

need 3 points against chelsea imo.

Jred,

Don't think we need them, a point would be satisfactory but I would like to see us have more of an attacking threat against them than we did tonight, I think 4 points from these 2 games would put us in a nice position going into a better run.

Bearing in mind after the last 2 Europa games we have lost to Watford and drawn with Stoke I am not confident we can get a win on Sunday anyway.

not sure pal, we are 7th at the moment .
that would make it 3 draws in a row, i think we need a win.

Bollocks. That Liverpool team were there for the taking, and Jose bottled it. Remember when we all slagged Jose's Chelsea for playing like that when they came to OT under Moyes? What was the difference tonight?

the difference is this is life post fergy .
this is what it is like for all the other teams .
im a fan of jose but i understand why people don't like him.
