Its been done to death . He had changed his agent at the start of the season to sort out a move .
I think the ed said at the time he was going off the advice of a certain french man at city.

Jk or any one else what is that you think makes pogba so special .
I think he is a good player but he doesn't control a game like kroos or modric for example .
I still think he drifts in and out of games .
Doesnt score many his best is 8 league goals in a season .
Assists are ok 12 last season same as pjanic who scored more than pogba .
What is it that makes him worldclass?

{Ed001's Note - it is for the Man Utd page that really, but it was none of those things. It was a simple dispute over agents, he wouldn't accept a Fergie chosen agent, which led to him being frozen out. } sounds like fergie pushing him out than the other way.

but ed001 what business does SAF have choosing player's agents for them. An agent is supposed to look after his client's interest and club chosen agent seems to me like conflict of interest.
{Ed001's Note - he always did this, to make more money. It was his son's agency that were representing the players.}

Ed 2 told us at the time he had taken advice of an x player, i think it was vieira and decided he was going so got a new agent and was always going to leave united .

He is a completely different type of player than modric and Kroos and fills a different role doing a different job. Kroos only scored once laat season.
He is a more dynamic player than one that that sits and playmakes.
I think he will develop into the best of his type of player in the world. He plays more like yaya did when dominating at city. Or like Gerrard did at Liverpool.
Of course he will need the team to be set up to Get the best out of him but I'm assuming that is what Jose intends to do.
He is better than anyone we have and of his type of player which is obviously what Jose is looking for he has the potential to be great. If Jose gets him to do what lampard did for Chelsea I think everybody would be delighted. 12 plus goals a season and plenty of assists I think he will become the heartbeat of the team.

Completely agree ken if we do get pogba and play a straight up 4-1-2-3 system with pogba as the most advanced midfielder behind a strong striker like ibra he could easily get double figures in the league next season.
Put him on pens and free kicks (unlikely with ibra around mind) he could match lampards output at his peak.

I don't think he is world class Jred, but he has the potential to be. He drives forward with the ball and create chances from midfield, something we've lacked for a while.
I don't believe he is worth 100m, though.
but that is the price you have to pay now if you want to get the top players from the top teams.
Being Manchester United alone increases a players value by (Guess) 20%. then you have to pay over the odds if the club doesn't want to sell.

I'm not worried about the money. Remember, Pogba will be a very marketable star. He has flash appeal, with the haircuts and celebrations and dance moves and all that, and he has a big social media profile. We older folks might not be too keen on that, but kids worldwide love that stuff, and Pogba does seem very positive with how he portrays himself. And he brings that same swagger onto the pitch. Confident on and off the pitch.
