Pogba's best position:
He is clearly wasted as a #6, I blame Deschamps much more than Pogba for his limited impact in the Euro Final. At Juve he plays a very unique role, more attacking than defensive out on the left, not a winger nor a center mid exactly. Often he seems to have little influence on the game, but I have seen him step up with big defensive performances, like against Bayern, for example.
He has all the attributes of a #8, a box-to-box player who can do everything. Some might also consider him in the #10 role. I suppose it all depends on how Jose would set up the triangle in MF, who he plays with, and who we are up against. All of this assuming he comes in, but I like his comments that came out today, calling us his "first family".

He started of in a more advanced role and then got dropped for the next game .
{Ed004's Note - Hopefully he is played on the left hand side of a 3 man midfield. When Martial moves central during the game Pogba will most likely drift out onto the wing.}

I think he is stopping at juve ed .
On a side note could jose surprise everyone and play a version of 4.4.2 similar to his inter team at times.

He has talked about pace and playing with the united way.
So maybe .
If we are going for pogba or matuidi as second choice then one of them in a cm 2 in a 4 4 2 makes more sense than pogba playing as a sitting dm.
{Ed004's Note - I think if Pogba comes in he's bound to be played as box to box midfielder. Matuidi would allow us to play with 2 holding midfielders}

Juve who are about to spend 70 million for Higuain? I don't think pogba is stopping at all, where's that money coming from?

Pogba would be wasted as a DM. his best asset will be his ability to suddenly drive forward by going past people at pace. He would be exciting, create spacefor others.
Question is regardless of Pogba whetherwe still need a true DM. a carvallho/ matic type or whether we go with Carrick and accept lack of pace with naive TFM as cover.
{Ed041's Note - I guess it depends what formation we are going to play with under Mou, he favours 433. If and its a big if Pogba does sign there no way I can see him playing DM.

Gds2 its been stated that juve could look to offer a few players along with cash for higuain but it does certainly look like they are spending in the knowledge that they will have a sudden influx of money soon.

Thats what di marzio said the other day, a couple of days after he said higuain has turned down 800k a week in china .
He now breaks the higuain to juve deal .
As well as, Pereyra, Sturaro, and Rugani. In exchange.

Ed true but i think jose would want a player to play a role, his first choice could prob do it better than his second.
{Ed041's Note - Pogba is not displained enough to play DM. He's a CM that gets a fair few goals, they are like gold dust and expensive when they come along. Why play him DM and take away one of his main attributes?

If it's true that Jose has told Jones that he has big plans for him next season, then could Jones be played as a DM, or as a CB with Bailly as a DM? Pogba can play there for sure, but you wouldn't pay that amount of money for a DM and limit his major attacking qualities. He'd be more of an attacking midfielder/ B2B like Yaya at City. It'll be interesting to see what the manager does.
