I do find it rather funny that some on here say we have the makings of a good young squad but then go on to say we just need to sign 5-6 players 😂 I'd be happy with a right winger along with the signing of Bailey (spelling) . With the players we already have and mouriniho at the helm I think we'll be challenging regardless.

We do have the makings of a top squad with lots of youth but we do need several areas filled with experience, centre back a priority.

The good young players will benefit from some good signings the pressure to carry a great club will be off them and they can develop naturally by being allowed to make some mistakes so they can learn. I am delighted we have martial for instance but the fact that he was our top scorer is indicative of how much the squad needs some input 5-6 players is a good number 3 or so could be starting the rest could rotate keeping players fresh and injury free while maintaining a good level of quality no matter what team is put out every game is the key to winning titles. I for one want more than one trophy from United each season.

But with no champs league and nobody really taking europa seriously surely an addition of 5-6 would be too many.

I don't think so streb, we need to change some personnel. I suspect Mata fellaini and Bastian may well be sold which will require 2 midfield replacements.
We also need an experienced cb and c. f.
I don't think we can afford to gamble on depay coming good so another winger is a priority.
So that is 5 plus the signing of bailley.
We will need a deep squad and as for not taking the Europa cup seriously I think that is nonsense. If we come out of the group stage into the knockout phase we should go all it to win it and I think we will. Of course that is dependent on our league position.

Just my opinion of course but I think mouriniho will keep fellaini in the squad but I do think mata n basta will be moved on. I also think we'll see a lot more from sneiderlin (spelling) this season. I just can't see us signing another 5-6 players though tbh.

I hear you streb. I think there is a lot more to come from a few players but mou will want what he perceives as his type of player.
