So LVG has banged his own final nail in his own coffin last night with his comment that expectations are too high.

Does he know which club he is managing? Does he know how much he has spent? And does he know that he has been successful in the past?

If we had got a top 3 and won the FA Cup and had played more attacking football but fell short I wouldn't be against him at all. But the fact is that we have scored about the same number of goals as newly promoted minnows Bournemouth and are the number 1 team in the League for passes backwards with well over 2,000 I think.

Please let Saturday come and go quickly with a win so by Monday morning he is gone.

Agree4 Disagree0

I always thought that a deal for jose was done and dusted but lvg sounds like he thinks he will be at united next season.

250mil spent and qualifying for Champ Lg is to high an expectation? Not too sure but Didn't he promise to win the lg this season? Good riddance lvg!

The man is either deluded or has been given the nod to carry on. I doubt if his ego would let him do this but if he could take on director of football role and maybe help oversee the academy as a football man not an accountant for a year and allow Jose to come in, but I guess that's way too much to expect with each one wanting to be top dog.

I would have to agree that the man is indeed deluded and has since pass on his delusion (or philosophy) to us, the fans. I am just clueless now of what to expect based on his recent comment last night - Is he going or not? Any latest news from any Eds?

If we win the cup hopefully by Monday he's gone. Sorry if I sound a little bit 'toxic' but win or not, what matters most is that our club get our sway back and play entertaining football again.

I think his arrogance knows no bounds. I can see a change of heart being the reason he steps down. He will say that he has brought silverware back to the club and that he can now retire as a success and spend more time with his family blah blah blah.

I just cannot see a way that he will be staying. If he does there had ought to be a huge boycott on the opening day that leaves a whole stand empty or something which continues until he is sacked. Evasive action is needed if the board continues with inaction.

No, No, No, Burren, He cannot be allowed anywhere near the academy. He must be kept away at all costs. It is bad enough that his anti-football philosophy is damaging the first team, but it can't be allowed to permeate into the youth teams as well, or the long-term effects will be disastrous for the club.

Sorry Nou camp I wasnt very clear re the academy . I would think he has a good knowledge of setting up the nuts and bolts of an academy, I think anyone involved in the Ajax set up at the height of their success in youth development is worth listening to -Ajax were light years ahead with their youngsters in diet, education, discipline, understanding the concept of total football, technical ability etc etc -and by all accounts our academy is lagging way behind our rivals - I think he could make it way more professional at its grass roots.

I don't buy into the man being a fool ( I know you didn't say that) he is a football man - just not a good manager for us.

That's ok then, mate. Anything but the actual football :)

If a deal was done the stock exchange would have to be informed. It hasn't. Ergo there isn't.

Patrick, if you're going to try and impress us on her, by using fancy words like, 'ergo', then at least put in a couple of comma's where they're required as well, please. Thank you. Toodle pip!
