Just saw the highlights on MOTD. It looks like Martial had a stormer. Everything positive came from his side.
Credit to Rooney tonight, I've been one of his biggest critics on here but from the highlights he looks sharp, his touch seems better and he seems to have gained a little in his first few sprint yards.
Anyone who was at the game care to comment on Rooney as highlights can be deceiving. He seems to had a great start to the year though.

Rooney as good as the highlights showed, one other thing that was noticeable was that he seemed to have as much energy in the 90th minute as he did in minute 1, looks a different player to the one we saw in 2015, never known one player go from so good to so bad to so good and so on as often as Rooney does, but when he's this good and with martial next to him they are unplayable.

7 goals in 7 games which will upset a few .
rooney and martial have had a run of games in the same position and we are maybe starting to see the benefit of that.

Agreed jred but also Rooney form depends on him staying injury free. When he gets a run of games he gets his sharpness back unfortunately after every injury it seems to take him 4 or 5 games to get back to his level.

Mata makes it all tick he finds space players and his pass for the buildup to Martials goal was great vision.
