Well there we go Pep going to City. We can scratch his name off the list of potential candidates.

Now our club can seriously scout and make an informed decison about who will be our next manager.

Allegri, Conte, Simeone, Pochettino, Emery and Koeman would be the names I'd have under consideration.

Don't think he was ever under consideration shapps.

He doesn't have the balls to go to a club with a struggling squad and turn it around. He only goes to prebuilt clubs where he can win things and take all the credit.

Don't forget Mr Mourinho Shappy. I know you are also a big fan. he he.

I have to agree with that Mort. When has he ever built a squad from scratch. I could win the league with Bayern.

Betty, who? Is that the fat kid who won the UCL with Accrington Stanley within 6 seasons of FIFA?

I thought he was a myth? Lol.

its not about having balls its about the best players go to the best teams .
you won't see messi or ronaldo moving to spurs for example .
when you are considered the best manager in the world you have your pick of the best teams and you take the best option.
pep wants a go in the epl and if you look at the money they have and the squad and what they are building, city would be first pick for a lot of managers.

Scratch Koeman off yor list shappy. Would go for mou before him. Or Roger Schmidt even!

01 Feb 2016 14:27:13
Schmidt would be an interesting option. Koeman I think lacks something, but he would be a solid choice who knows the EPL. Wouldn't be my first pick.

As for Mourinho, well I think I made myself quite plain about how I feel about him managing our club.

Jred, I think if you're a well-known team, in a top league, if you pay enough, you'll get top players. We never got the top ones over the years, but that was more to do with not being prepared to splash the cash, I think.

Steviek is absolutely right. We never go for the top players as we have never wanted to pay. Adm was the exception to the rule. United have always invested in raw talent and tried to turn them into world stars.
The list of nearly United players is endless, Hazard, Ronaldinho to name but two. While Woodward was telling the world how much money we have to spend and then spent nearly nothing, city went out and spent £50M on sterling, £50m on de bruyne and £35m on Otimendi.
Look at the players they have, all their players apart from Hart will will walk into our team.
