So another weekend where we could have cemented a top 2 finish. Trouble is we can't even string two or three results together. With this team (not squad) we should be 10 points better off than where we are, however we find ourselves fighting for a top 4 position. I have managed many youth teams, and have the ability to see what is wrong and change it to the teams strengths. I can't see or understand how a manger on more than I make in 10 years in one year, cannot see what is wrong?

{Ed023's Note - Cemented a top 2 finish?}

Agree0 Disagree4

Yet another massive exaggeration! Cemented top 2? We are 7 points behind second place and also way behind in goal difference. There are 15 games left, so 45 points to play for.

Now I'm just a plain old country girl from the west country. Carol Vorderman I am not, admittedly. But please explain the maths behind your statement. 😂😂😂.

If you read further, I am on about this team should be 10 points better off than it is. Thus on this weekends results we should of been looking at a position in the top two.

I think he had a few too many.

Shano,

I've read further, explain 'cemented'?

24 Jan 2016 18:50:36
FFS, is it that hard to see? I am pointing out that with losses to Bournemouth, Southampton etc we would be possibly 10 points better off? Thus on the weekend results we should be looking at top two. So many idiots on here.

{Ed023's Note - If we all did the league table on losses to certain teams we'd all be champions or cementing top 2 finishes}

24 Jan 2016 18:38:34
Never mind stringing 2 or 3 results together, we struggle stringing 2 or 3 passes.

GDS2, the term cemented "means we could if performed better in different games be a top two team". So many of you high and mighty posters, have said before with what is happening in the league, that the top is available for all to take. Cite lose and draw a lot, Arsenal slip up again, Chelsea are hit and miss. Thing is you lot wish to try and take the piss.

24 Jan 2016 20:54:02
Come on gods its obvious, we could also have won 2 European cup finals if we had beaten Barcelona in those finals and we wouldn't have lost the league to city on goal difference if we had drawn one of the matches we lost that season.
Gds if you can't understand that you Obviously have not had enough to drink
Betty I know your no Carole but you must see Shane's point. And you shouldn't be taking the piss its not a nice thing to do😂😂😂.

I hear you shano i agree. Seems to be a crazy year though, youd think with man citys squad they be nailed on top two but even that isn't for sure with the way leicester have been permorming. Yheres still a long way to go and anything can happen yet. However i can't see us having any kind of consistency to mount a charge.

24 Jan 2016 20:32:03
Shano - our current league position flatters us. We have gotten out of jail so many times with inept, toothless performances. The only thing we seem to be 'cementing' is our midfield runners (cementing them in place that is)!

24 Jan 2016 21:40:48
Don't bite Shano, its just banter mate. I think 'cemented' is the wrong terminology mate, that's all.

24 Jan 2016 23:12:50
No Betty now he's explained what cemented meant he is spot on lol.

Ken,

That made me laugh mate, I am liking 'gods' as well if you want to continue to call me that I won't complain ;)

We would be mid table, at best, without DDG. Assuming current manager and style of play remained.
