I'm hoping we go back to the 4-3-3 formation instead of 4-2-3-1. The two holdings players seem to play deep leaving space in midfield for the opposing teams to take advantage of. Swansea being a good example of this.
Schneiderlin would be more effective as a box to box player than a holding midfielder. I feel we aren't getting the best out of him yet along with a few other players.
When DDG returns that will be a boost to the team. Especially given Rimeros performance last Sunday.
I'm going to stick my neck out here and say a midfield three of blind Herrera and Schneiderlin would work well. Blind sitting deeper and allowing Herrera and Schneiserlin to push up. Then as the games go on you could have Schweinsteiger and Carrick to come on to control the game if required. Blind isn't everyone's cup of tea but I think he is best suited to playing either LB or a Holding midfielder. Rojo when fit should play alongside Smalling.
Our lack of high tempo football has made us look bland so far. A win may be a win but I'd like to be able to sit back and enjoy the football I'm watching. The players giving it their all. It's not possible to always play at a high tempo, especially playing against the top teams. It maybe just me, but it doesn't feel like I'm watching a Manchester United team at the moment

I think we should go back to 433 too. We played our best football in a while when we played with the three.

As soon as you mentioned Blind I disagree. Sorry but Blind should be nowhere near starting 11 in midfield now unless there's aload of injuries.

Fair point FZZ. I realised mentioning Blind would be a faux pas. I was think more along the lines of/ when Carrick and Schweinstiger get injured we would have to play him.

4-1-2-3 For me carrick holding. Herrera schneiderlein middle 2 depay rooney martial front 3. Full backs playing really well anyway and will push up and get back just aswell to help out defending. Love to see us try and attack for a change!

Wow Mad Hatter, you just back tracked pretty quickly there mate! One challenge on Blind and you completely change what you said!
