Wow what a day. LVG is clearly giving youth a chance. I thought that's what United were all about mixing in youngsters we turn into world beaters with experience. Well a front line of two of Europe's most exciting youngsters in Memphis and Martial combined with Rooney as the experienced head is pretty amazing. Assisted by Wilson who we all believe could be something special.
Relax, give it time, I think they could be giving us a good show this season.

I'm all for giving youth a chance and you are right that was what United were about. Bringing players through the ranks or investing a small amount of change into potential whilst trying to develop them into superstars.
The difference here is these 'youths' are being signed at the same price as readymade players in thier primes and are by no means players we will ever 'make' as a result as they have been paid for extravagantly. Hopefully it works out well for them but by no means is this the 'United way'.

Does anyone actually believe that Wilson will be something special? i'm not meaning to annoy people on here, but can noone see that he is very average player, getting the hype because he plays for ManU? He is like Macheda all over again but everyone saying i'm deluded when i say so, i would love to hear some opinions on him from people here who has actually watched him play on more than a couple occasions.
