I feel for Jesse Lingaard. he always seems to do very well on tour, then get dropped after one poor prem start. It's been 3 pre-seasons now I've seen him play very well, yet fail to make a break in the first team. I remember when we sent him out on loan to Birmingham and he scored 4 on his debut. Give the boy a chance, he's 22 now and should be given his sink or swim orders.

Harry he was injured in the 1st game against Swansea and that is why he was substituted.

Rather than buying a squad player from elsewhere (like we did with Blind), why not give that role to Lingard. He can play in multiple attacking positions and always looks good when playing. If not then a loan to premier league club only where he will get his chances.

The injury against Swansea completely ruined his season last year for us. I think he would have got his chance if not for that.

he got injured last season, maybe this season he can get the games, but we shouldn't just be giving games to players for the sake of it,
if there not up to the standard then they don't deserve to play, that goes for all players at the club.
but hopefully lingard and pereira(spelling) along with adnan get a fair amount of playing time this season.

He was given a chance vs Swansea and he got injured and was out for some time. It's hard to blood on youth when you need to win games and have better players ahead of them.

Yeh Angelred. His chance TO sink or swin. Arms bands won't be needed IMO he has a rubber ring and countless inflatables.

Haha he might float for a little bit longer then. But would love to see him do well. Very positive that we had so many academy players play against barca
