Just seen the highlights form the Wales game. Gareth Bale is an absolute superstar and anyone who can honestly say they would rather Depay over him is a daydream believer.
I'd be happy to part with a huge chunk of cash for Bale. What a complete player.

Bale and Di Maria would make a great wing pairing with Januzaj and Depay fighting for game time, waiting in the wings.

Who has said they would rather have Depay? I think both would be good, I would imagine most people would settle for Depay if Bale was unavailable or overpriced.

I agree fresh although to say Di Maria would currently keep Depay and Januzaj out the team at the moment is a bold statement. I would like Mata and Januzaj to compete for the No.10 next year with Bale and Depay brought in for the wings. Would rather sign these two wingers than a striker.

I don't think anyone has said depay > bale. I've said bale > Ronaldo with a side order of depay.

I have seen a few posters on here say they would rather have Depay I can recall Rewz as one fairly recently.

I'd love us to sign him, thought that boat had sailed after he signed or Madrid but with the way they're treating him no matter what he says about it, it won't go on for long. I stand by what i've said before and that's once Messi and Ronaldo decline Bale will be the best in the world but he has to leave Madrid first, the fans can be vile and detrimental to players careers even when they're not playing that bad.
{Ed004's Note - I think it would cost too much to bring him back. Also were would he play for us? I reckon Di Maria will replace Young and Mata should continue to start. No doubt he would start but I think we should upgrade other positions first}
