According to the Sun (hopefully that hasn't stopped everyone reading my post), we are pushing very hard to get Leroy Sane. Whilst not my first choice he does fit the qualaties I believe we need from a right wing/forward.

Eds does this story have any foundation? Is Sane a player Man Utd would like to sign?

{Ed002's Note - Schalke rejected bids from Spurs and Stoke for Leroy Sane in the summer. A number of clubs from across Europe have had the player watched in the first and reserve sides towards the end of last season and at the start of this - including Manchester UNited, Sunderland, Arsenal, Liverpool, Bayer Leverkusen, West Ham and RBL.

So Sane is one right sided player Manchester United has looked at - although my understanding is that they are more interested in someone else right now. We will see what happens when we get to January.}

Hi Ed, brilliant thanks for the info as always much appreciated. Are you able to disclose the player we have more interest in?

{Ed002's Note - It is Bernardo Silva. Both Chelsea and Manchester United have watched Bernardo Silva of Monaco on several occasions this season, including during internationals. He is an unusual player in that he is naturally left footed but is most effective on the right wing. He has also played as cover in defence and was previously seen by Fiorentina as an option to replace the similar Juan Cuadrado. Manchester City have also watched him this season and he may be a player they look again to in the future.}

Thank you so much for the wonderfully detailed answer.

Very much appreciated.

That's interesting. He's a great little player, but I don't know if he is well suited to the Premier League. He isn't very strong and is easily pushed of the ball and bullied physically. Hard worker, quick and very skillful. But is a like Mata with pace but far weaker physically.

Would love to see either of them at our club. Sane was the best player at the Bernabeu last season and is the best young talent in Germany. Bernardo Silva is an outstanding dribbler and good finisher but works very hard off the ball. Either would be a fantastic addition to our squad and if we can get one in in January and they adapt quickly, then they could really boost of chances in the league.

Ed2
what is your personal opinion about bernardo silva as a player. is he good enough or ready to be playing for a big club or will it be a move too early for him like you said about depay.
Thanks.

{Ed002's Note - He is well thought of and will likely move during 2016. Chelsea and Manchester United have watched Bernardo Silva of Monaco on several occasions this season, including during internationals. He is an unusual player in that he is naturally left footed but is most effective on the right wing. He has also played as cover in defence and was previously seen by Fiorentina as an option to replace the similar Juan Cuadrado. Manchester City have also watched him this season and he may be a player they look again to in the future. He is not first choice for Chelsea.}
