Very true. But they have done some good business. If they add a keeper and another defender they will challenge. Best to focus on ourselves because with some good additions in the right areas we will also challenge.

We haven't been able to compete with the likes of United, City and Chelsea in terms of spending.
After years and years of selling our best players (Mascherano, Alonso, Torres, Suarez, Sterling and Coutinho) for ridiculously huge amounts, it seems like we have finally turned the corner and are able to spend big on talented and skilled players that fit the team (I'll stop short of calling them world class just yet) .
I'm optimistic but not deluded, City to win the league again with United and Liverpool fighting for 2nd.

Do they need Fekir? Probably not. Do they need 2-3 more centre miss? Most likely. Do they need 2 cbs, a rb and a gk? Yes. But keep signing attackers by all means.

Fair enough sibsama. Seems you have some decent owners who are building something decent. But Klopp has no more excuses as he has spent as much/ if not more than Jose has during his time with us. No more excuses for either manager next season. I think both teams will be challenging with city for the title.

1.3 billion spent in the premier league era. This season is make or break for klopp given the money spent so far since January. He has to win a cup and challenge.
