A friend of mine in Spain has suggested we may be interested on Rakatic of Barcalona next summer. Anyone know if he has been on our radar. Could he be a replacement for Carrick or is he more attack minded?

We need a Kante type a proper mobile defensive midfielder to allow the others players more freedom.

We don't need any more midfielders and are overloaded in that area. we need a right winger, a second striker and offensive right back.

Agree beast. TFM looks a player who will be everywhere. Someone who you don't wanna play against. He is much more physical than Kante.
And I would not mind if we loan him out these 6 months. We do have a top talent here.
And I don't think he's a defender.
