Agreed. There is no room for sentiment in any form of business. Mourinho I'm sure will want his own assistant in and that's what he should get. Give the man the tools he needs to do his job.

Why not promote Warren Joyce to the first team?
He's been brilliant for our youth.
And he knows everything well.

One of the best run and most successful clubs in Europe if not the world is run by several generations of ex players. Bayern Munich.
We could do a lot worse than following their model/ example.
For a club with such history and tradition a link to the past should not be disgarded so easily.
