Would anyone recommend Berlin in April? Eds you all travel a lot, any opinions?
{Ed002's Note - Berlin will be mild in April and is good for a weekend or so but not much longer. The Checkpoint Charlie Museum is small but a must do. Munich would be better as the have the wonderful Das Kartoffelmuseum - ideal place for most football fans.}

I travel a lot, what are you after Mort, trip with the lads or Mrs? I've spent the past 3 weeks traveling around Germany (in Dusseldorf now, wouldn't recommend) I didn't even bother with Berlin after the feedback I got from my Mrs and mates who went with partners and stag do's.
Thumbs down, boring dreary city is the feedback. Much better places in Central Europe whether for romance or session or simply something to do.

If you're into sight seeing there's loads to see. Good for a weekend like Ed said but no need for much longer. Plenty of night life on offer. Depends what type of break you are after really.

my mum lived in germany for years, i used to stay with her a bit and i must say the country is a lovely place to live.

Berlin is quite boring mate.Try Italy in april you will love it and who knows we might be playing against an italian club in CL in the knock out stage:)

Brussels has a pub that holds the record (I think) for the most different beers on sale. Well worth a visit when in Brussels.

Love this thread, He has a chance to Berlin, not money go go wherevers nicest haha.
