I know the Argentine Prima donna is leaving, but surely, the guy should be back in training. He is still be paid by United.

I know most would disagree, but I wouldn't sell him to PSG. The whole affair leaves a sour taste in my mouth. They have acted in a despicable manner and he is an odious mercenary who should be taught a few life lessons. Of course, he will get his move to that no mark club, and play in that two bob league.

They deserve each other!

I wouldn't let it bother you mate. Football is the game we all love , but it is morally bankrupt. I don't even blame PSG. All clubs behave in the same way to get what they want , us included.
If they come up with an acceptable offer for the player then they will be doing us a favour. Good riddance I say , which is a shame because I would usually wish departing players well.
Unfortunately , the ADM situation is exactly what happens when players come purely for the money.

Fine him 2 weeks wages and we've got another 0.5million back from our overpaying .

Is he really awol?
I'm not so sure, i'd say he is on gardening leave albeit on full pay. Keep your trap shut and you will get your move I'm sure he has been told. But we want to negotiate the best possible deal I'm sure.
Good riddance to him, a bit like veron I am disappointed it just didn't work out no matter what the reason. If ed gets anything over 40m he has done really well, as its above his true value irrespective of what we paid for him last year.
Ive seen figures between 30 and 52m reported by the press I reckon if he gets 40m + for di Maria we should take it and run.

As Betty says, all clubs do it. Look back to when we wanted Berbatov. And I believe we signed him on the last day of the window so Spurs had no time to sign a replacement. Unfortunately in this day and age, as soon as a players head is turned its pretty much nailed on he'll leave.
It's probably a bit more sour for us United fans because we're not used to selling our 'stars' until we're ready to move them on.

He may well be training at Carrington alone or with the u21s. I see the logic of not disrupting the USA tour whilst this goes on.

Did we not do exactly the same with Rojos
