That's your opinion Andy, and one I could not disagree with more. I personally think Benteke would put Liverpool on another level with players like Firmino and Coutinho feeding him.

They will be a bigger threat to everyone next season. But for me they still need a keeper, a centre half, a holding midfielder and a striker for them to be a threat.

He's lazy, rarely makes a run in behind, he can only score when the balls put on a plate for him. He knows how to take his chances but he creates nothing

Well, if he is their primary striker, his primary role will be to take his chances and score goals. I highly doubt Liverpool will sign a striker like Benteke to create chances.

That's the difference between the top teams and the average teams, top teams have forwards like Aguero who will create and score goals, average teams have forwards like Benteke and balotelli who will only do one of those things if you're lucky

Benteke is hugely overrated for me, not once seen him play and thought any more of him than someone like Mame Biram Diouf. Never understood why so many people rate him so much.
