Evening Ed, who is United's first choice CF option for the Summer window.
Thank you.
{Ed002's Note - They have looked at many players and decided on one - but he will look to move to MIlan. They will need to settle on a player who is willing to start on the bench. Joshua Zirkzee (S) Manchester United had a third-party scout watch him in a game against Roma in December and they decided on Zirkzee as their preferred option. Milan has declared an interest knowing Giroud is coming to the end of his contract but don't know if Zirkzee will match his goal tally - and they offer the preferred solution for the player. Bayern Munich have an option to buy the player back but will likely not be interested in following up on it. Napoli offer an option when Osimhen moves. Arsenal have two preferred choices but could turn to Zirkzee and Kia is keen on a move to London. Player will not move to become cover or second choice likely ruling out Juventus.
Youssef En-Nesyri (S) Seen as a cheap option for West Ham, Manchester United and Aston Villa, but the player could be open to Mr Emenalo's offer to take him to Al-Hilal.}

Thanks for info spelling out first choice Ed002, very much appreciated.

How embarrassing… Sorry Ed. I read your response as ‘first choice not available so the next options are…’.
Thanks for the reply!

Think E002 must like you Scholesy: when I did a similar thing a few years back, I was given a stinging rebuke!

I imagine that’s my extra-life now used, Wallace….

Well Zirkzee (along with Branthwaite) haven't made the final Euro squads, so potentially all that gumf about focusing on the national team and waiting until the tournament has ended might not apply if we're in for either of these.

And now Zirkzee is being named as our top transfer target on sky sports news, wonder where they get their information from!

Ed002 are we interested in ivan toney?
{Ed002's Note - Ivan Toney (S) Brentford do not want to sell but are aware Toney may look to move up a step and will reluctantly look to perhaps £70M as a sale price in the summer - but will likely not get anything close to that. Newcastle, if they can sell their project to him, offer the chance of a return to the club who previously could find no use for him in the three years he was there - but that would only be in the most unlikely event they lose Isak. Arsenal, Leeds, Manchester United, Spurs, Chelsea and West Ham have all sent scouts on more than one occasion to watch him prior to his ban, but Chelsea and Spurs have preferred options meaning West Ham, Arsenal or Manchester United are likely best placed to complete a transfer. First choice for Arsenal.}

If Zirkzee is off to Milan, and ten Hag confirmed to stay, we may well see a move for Brobbery or David if we can’t get Zirkzee.
