I think all agree we were lucky today and played poorly, what concerns me is the top four finish, Chelsea and spurs look bankers, City are back playing well, so it's a battle between ourselves Arsenal and the scousers. Unless we improve we are in trouble we have both spurs and arsenal away in our last three games. It's going down to the wire I'm not anyway confident at the moment.

Agree2 Disagree2

I think you got to remember that we had 3 days prep with games coming in fast. Southampton, a very good side who hadn't conceded the whole tournament, had 2 weeks prep and their team has a lot more pace than us. It was always going to be difficult. We didn't play great and we still managed 3 goals, even without probably our second most influential player who helps us tick. I still see us favourites to get 4th, just got to keep doing what we've done. Glory glory utd.

Think some allowances need to be made for the fact they had two weeks off and our lads have played a lot of games. Scoring goals and winning on a bad day is the sign of a top team.

It was a great Cup final that will be remembered for many years. We were clearly short physically against them but winning is contagious. My only concern is we need to sort our our left back as Rojo is terrible there and against top of the table opposition it will cost us. I do hope we see a resurgent shaw for the last 3 months.

I think we really missed mick yesterday too.

Completelt agree with you Xfiles,

I think we weren't great yestersay but now finally have got a habit of winning ugly.

Micki waa greatly missed yesterday but hopefully he comes back soon to help us push for top 4 and europa league.

It's in our hands we have games against Spurs, Arsenal, Citeh and Chelsea. Win them and we are golden.

Problem is players like Pogba and Martial bottle it in the big games.

Not wanting to sound negative but those are also 4 opportunities for every top 4 opponent to take advantage of our slip up if any, it is a double edged sword which can hurt us too.

I still feel europa is our best bet for cl. Also i agree with pogba part, he was poor against liverpool and chelsea ok against arsenal n Tottenham, i have rarely slagged him but he really needs to start pulling his weight.

@Utd road

When does Martial bottle it in big games? Do you not remember hos debut or the winning goal in the FA cup semi final?

For me Pogba needs to calm down a bit, yet he shows signs of brilliance a few times per game perhaps he just needs a bit more consistency.
