Still here guys , reading every day. Just taking a break for a while. I starting getting a bit fed up with some of it a while back. Some people love to court attention by deliberately stirring things up and thinking they know better than everyone else. I found myself wanting to post replies that would have been completely inappropriate on here. That only caused animosity and hastle for the Eds , so I took a break. Just decided not to play the martyr and make some big announcement (not that anyone would care anyway!!)
Anyway , that is my problem , not anyone else's. Its good that the site is busy.
GDS , not a big fan of Ramos to be honest. Obviously a good player , but a bit rash and indisciplined at times , for me. I personally think we need a quality commanding CB who is strong mentally as well as physically and who primarily can defend and organise. A ball player would be a bonus , but one who can defend is a priority. I understand the idea of a ball player back there , but if we are to play with a deep lying midfielder , like Carrick , the need for a ball playing CB is not quite so essential. But it would be a bonus. My choice would be Thiago Silva , but that's probably unrealistic and expensive. Next on my list would be Hummels or Garay.
On a side note , I will be well cheffed if we do sign Morgan S.Lin , as I see he is now called!! I was championing him on here 2 years ago. Would be a very good signing for us I think.

I do agree somewhat with your analysis of Ramos but he might just be that leader we need in the defense, he is a bit rash but plenty of steel there and we have seriously lacked the past 2 seasons.
It could also just be that Ed is playing hardball with Madrid and standing firm and I for one have to agree. If we don't get Ramos, then De Gea will not go for cheap this season and if we do get him and de gea goes then it's a win win scenario, UTD get a top class centre half and make a statement to the world that we won't be made a fool of by Madrid

i do agree betty ramos is good player if he comes tats good but do he have to prove anything will his heart be here. i rather go to otamendi he is strong good in air for him utd is a big club he will like to make a point . if we get him them go for ramos then i fine i just don't want one more bale saga got for him and miss our other targets .
