I wonder will tuchel being Bellingham to the wc.
Big call to leave him out of the squad this time. i'm not sure if its because he is only playing again after injury.
This will cover many column inches between now and the wc.

Tuchel came out and said Bellingham needs more match fitness as he's failed to complete 90 minutes. I think there was also a suggestion he's experimenting in case, for whatever reason, Bellingham was to be injured for the World Cup, what our alternative options are.
He is our best midfielder but has had a slow start this season. I'm glad to see Tuchel willing to drop players who aren't playing at club level. Something Southgate didn't do. But he needs to find a way to get him back in.

The rumours us Bellingham is a bit Billy Big Boots, he's the man. He's clearly a great player but Tuchel seems very focused on the team as a whole, which is commendable.

Bellingham isn't fully fit, and it doesn't hurt to bring other options in and see how they do.
The problem with always calling up the same players is that it means others get very limited chances and how often has an international team had to go to a major tournament without a key player due to injury? If that happens you want to know that whoever else gets called up in their place is good enough and fits well with the rest of the team.
Maybe Bellingham has an ego, and maybe Tuchel is sending him a message. But I expect it's more to do with fitness. No point calling him up if he isn't fully fit, better for the player, his club and his national side for him to stay with his club and work on his fitness. How often do we moan when a key player gets injured that we make them play too many games.

You can see that in him AJH. Hence why England didn’t do well last tournament, all the hard work southgate did to create harmony Bellingham came in a fcked it all up because he was undroppable. There was a report of a split in the camp with the likes of Kane and older members not getting on with TAA and bellingham.
