Mbeumo looks a happy man in the photos circling social media. Suited and booted for his contract signing. Love it. Think he will be a fan favourite, he's got the ability but his attitude could be just as important. Excellent signing. See Ken I can do positive every now and then ?.

Before the usual protagonists jump down my throat, i am happy that we have signed Cunha and Mbueno. Indeed the professionalism shown by him turning up in a suit to sign is a touch of class in its own!
But it still worries me that we have paid over the odds for both players despite the hollow gesturing by the powers that be that we would not be pressganged into doing so.

Keefy, not going to jump down your throat, just offer some perspective.
We paid the release fee for Cunha, so not overpaying.
We paid £2.5-5M more than we had hoped (? ) . Hardly overpaying, when you look at previous transfers, Hoiljund as a prime example, Anthony another, Sancho another, Onana another, Maguire ANOTHER, Casemiro! Etc etc.

Who really cares what we paid!
They are good players and that’s what good players cost, if they were great players they would have cost even more.
Previously we paid money for great players and got poor players, so least that’s something.
If we worry so much about money the bigger concern is what we sell for!

Fair point Keefy but for me the wages rather than the transfer fee is the big thing. These 2 are on around the 150-190k a week mark not the plus 200k the likes of Antony, Casemiro, rashford etc are on. That will be of more benefit to us than the original outlay.

SJR, don’t care about me and the other thousands who go all over the place supporting our team, SJR don’t care about nothing other than himself and being no one likes the glazers, why should I concern myself about £££s in there pocket or not! Plus what’s the point in giving something headspace when you don’t even know the facts, you have ridiculous statements one minute could have gone bust, then the next minute spent 200m and made loads redundant
That’s why I have no concern about the money, when SJR and Glazers are gone with money or not United will still be here, so I don’t care for 1 minute about the funds! Football become all about £££s but it’s not my concern.
