Watched the Spurs Villa game and although Spurs lost they could have been 2 or 3 up at half time and i saw enough about them to worry me.

I have a horrible feeling about this one..i can see Spurs getting their first win of the season. I just don't have a good feeling about this team at the moment. It's a massive game with massive pressure and we all know this team crumbles under pressure.
1-2 Spurs..i have no confidence in the team or Carrick.

Carrick cannot afford to lose because if we do then the discussion will move to a relegation battle.
Two open sides and we have a poor defence when Carrick plays Maguire. The full backs are poor which Spurs may enjoy some space, especially Shaw.

It's a weird one to predict. I expect a very cagey game with two managers under pressure and worried about leaking goals. The main things United have in their favour is that Spurs are a liability against the counter, and they lack an attacking focal point.
This feeds into what worked well for Carrick last season. I fully expect United to sit deep and break. But given how many defensive mistakes we've been making I'm not entirely confident. I'd go to 2-1 to us.

Sadly spurs will get their first win of the season. I've seen some of their games and they are far batter than the results show. Whereas United have been poor in pretty much every game.
Spurs will have more energy and fight.
Plus there are a number of injury doubts on some of the United players.
I reckon 2-0 to spurs.

If we concede first it could be a cricket score, this is as fragile a United team as the latter days of Ole. We have the mental fortitude of a packet of jelly babies.
