Later today I think we get to find out if we have made progress.
A regulation win against Sunderland and then an awesome away performance at Anfield should have built momentum but Brighton have caused us a heap of issues in recent years. Remember, we should have won at Anfiled last year and then immediately lost to Brighton so there is a sense of deja vu today.
The summer signings all look like good business. Mbuemo and Cunha have settled in, and whilst it is early days, Lammens looks like a proper keeper. Sesko needs more game time and more service but has already shown flashes. Mount has also been excellent so far, given his injury record he's like a new signing.
Will we stride forwards, or is it 2 steps forward, 1 step back?
I have no idea what we will see, I hope for more progress and success does build confidence, my big hope is that we start with energy and focus and show we are up for it.

I hope we can show up, I think we win if we do. If we are off it even a little they will expose our weaknesses.
Are Casemiro and Fernandes strengths or weaknesses? Will Dalot be good or woeful? Can we get service to Sesko?
I think they know they have to show up for this. I choose to believe they will.
