I believe this is a post on that X Twitter place and worth sharing.
We really need to consider the situation very carefully. Surely Burnley would be beating a path to Carrick's door, yet are supposedly looking at Gerrard and Bellamy.

Yep, big red flag against Carrick that Burnley don't want him. In future, we should cross reference every managerial appointment and player signing with JJ Watt to see if he approves of it.

Selling Spence, Tavernier, Akpom, Archer, Ramsay and not subsequently replacing them might have played a part in his so-called downfall.
Red man, we get it, you don't want him, and I'm not saying he is 'The Man', but he has earned the right for his name to be discussed.
He has done a remarkable job since coming in, and sits at the top of the form chart.

People are losing their minds, yes, consider Carrick, but seriously he has had 13 games where we haven't seen a step change in performance. Will people please wake up. Too many are showing an emotional response.

A long list in front of Carrick. The club needs to conduct a non-emotional process reviewing skill set.
I cannot believe people post there is no one else, only Carrick, yet cannot see how ridiculous that comment is. There are plenty of far more experienced managers with vision. Fed up with keep posting lists tbh.

I am also keen to understand who is in this long list of available and suitably experienced managers with vision.
Then, we can genuinely debate the merits of each.
I have no preference at this moment in time until we know who is realistically available.
It may well be that Carrick is genuinely the best available from the pool and who wants to be at United.

Carrick has done a great job getting the club back on track, but to put this simply, if Carrick had no ties to utd, and the decision makers are looking for the next Manchester United manager, would Carrick be on the list? I'm pretty sure the answer would be no.

If whoever that person was came in with the club struggling, and won 9 out of 13, and got us comfortably into the CL places with 4 games to go, then yes, they would 100% be considered.
