Before Amorim joined the player playing as striker had scored 2 goals in 13 games, since Amorim arrived the player playing striker has 8 goals in 6 games.

Now whilst there are clearly still some issues, especially with players like Dalot and Rashford who are really struggling to make a mark in this system, the above stats show that we are creating more for strikers than we were previously. I'm looking for positives and that is certainly one of them that I can see.
The build up is still a little too slow and we need Onana to stop making stupid errors but there are some signs of improvement, there are some portions of games where we look horrendous still but I am hopeful that once Ruben realises which players aren't up to it we will see a bit less rotation and start to get some momentum and confidence.

There has been lots of positives imo. Also lots more of the same.
He can't change much with such little training ground time.
You can see small bits of improvement. You pick one there gds2.
Chasing back has improved for most. Rashford excluded.
I hope his must keep list looks like this.

I think the 2 standout players have been Amad and Hojlund, both look hungry and up for it. Whilst others have had their moments, I'm not sure anyone else has stepped up, apart from maybe Maz. Mount has shown promise, MDL looks classy but also prone to an error and I thing Ugarte shows promise.
However, as few look like square pegs, Rashford, Zirkzee, Malacia (who may not be match fit), Cas, and Onana, who had been playing well, suddenly looks very dodgy again.
I think RA is giving everyone chances, hopefully he will be ruthless in getting to the right team and squad.

I have big doubts on Garnacho, he almost always makes the wrong decision, plays for himself and I don't think he is very willing to change.

MDL lacks pace and at the highest levels today that is a problem.

But I agree that it will be up to him. I think he is very coachable he proved that as a youth.
Unfortunately he has had very poor coaching in attacking play imo despite flashes of brilliance since he broke into the 1st team. He's been allowed drift into individualism and not be part of a cohesive unit.
He will benefit greatly with a different type of coaching and tactical awareness where players with his abilities can flourish but also must have accountability and take on their responsibilities.
You might well be right. But I think he is very coachable he just needs to prove it.
In 12 months I hope to see a very different player who is enjoying his football.

I saw a stat showing Garnacho as having the highest % of unsuccessful dribbles in the EPL. If a substantial offer came in for him I think United might take it.

I find myself agreeing with Ken, there must be a new manager or something ? give it a few more weeks Ken, just a few more weeks. Think I agree with your whole list there. Onana wasn't on my list only die to him playing better, but he really doesn't convince me.
Massive amount of change still needs to happen. Exciting times ahead.

Our games at the moment seem like pre season. Have thought since ole that our team was unfit and couldn't match the opposition for ground covered.
I think at the moment it's quicker to say the players who look like a fit for the system. Maz ugarte amad hojlund and mount (to a degree) . Mainoo yoro should be fine. Bruno is our best player, seems to fit the deeper role better than the 10 in my opinion.
Dalot and unfortunately rashford seem to be struggling. The signing of zirkzee is a worry hopefully he was a ten hag signing, like most of his he just isn't good enough.

Seems funny keeping Mount, but wanting to move Bruno, possibly our best player, next to Amad, these past few weeks (and in Brunos case, past few years) .

Trololo. Bruno would be in the 1st 3 or 4 I'd have out the door.
You might think he is out next player and playing well I think he has been really poor. He is not worth building a team around he is 31 next year.
Stupid contract to give him imo.
You like him and think he is one of our best and your well entitled to that view. I'd be selling him asap.

Its 21% basically loses the ball 4/ 5 times. He also leads the league for most losses in possession for a winger. Some will argue he is young and trying but you will not survive anywhere at a big club with those stats no matter what. You need football IQ and understand that sometimes there is no dribble available and rotate the ball.
ATM He is more effective in transition and break away play but not a possession based system and will need to get a lot better in terms of decision making and final product/ delivery.
To be fair judge him and the rest at the end of the season when they have had enough time to adapt to the changes.

Tumble, but you would build our team around Mount? He is 31, so? When the time comes, we can replace him, it is not like he is playing bad, or is injured all the time. He could easily give us 2-3 seasons.
Dont get me wrong, if the general idea/ tactics/ plan or whatever is to sell him and he doesn't fit, that is fine, but I can't understand someone really wanting our best player to be sold, and at the same time wanting to keep Mount, who is pretty terrible, and on top of that injured half of the time (or more) .

I think Fernades is a very good player and I'd always start him given our options, but I think because the overall quality of the squad is so poor he's been given the mantle of best player and the captaincy. Ideally he needs to be complimented by a handful of much better players than we have so he's not in the spotlight.
