What people's views on the strong Ederson rumours? Think he would be a good addition, but feel we need another possible Fernandes from West Ham when they get relegated. A lot of players to sell on still, Ugarte, Zirkzee, Malacia and all those out on loans too.
Really busy time for the board this summer and that's after getting a manager. So many to sell / leave, but 2 for midfield is a definite and maybe an CB. Think we have option up top.

I was saying before, Redcon, I know nothing of him. But if he does arrive, he will, because he will have been scouted properly, and that his personality fits the club and squad. The last window was top, and for that reason I am more than willing to trust them on their recruitment.

After Hojlund and Zirkzee, I'm going to reserve judgement on any player linked/signed from Serie A.
It would be unfair to tar them with the same brush, and he does have decent Champions League experience, so could be a decent option as a backup midfielder.

Fernandes and/or Gomes from the (likely) two relegated teams make sense, although it'll be a marketing nightmare. Maybe, we could stick to Bruno and Mateus?

Mateus is good, but young and far from the finished article. We could do with somebody aged 26, just about to hit their peak years, and who has the maturity and experience to know how to dominate midfield.
