Gallagher on the way to Spurs, Urgarte heading to Galatasary reports Collyer going out again on loan, surely a midfielder coming in.
1.) 12 Jan 2026 20:15:54
We have just signed a midfielder loan til end dof season welcome Michael Carrick.
2.) 13 Jan 2026 03:35:38
Surely Ugarte leaving and someone like Gallagher and/or Neves coming in would have just . ade sense to everyone.
I appreciate Gallagher going to Spurs, but he would have chosen us, but we just gave up and went into a death spiral.
3.) 13 Jan 2026 07:23:33
Rooney available too, him and Carrick can fill the gaps. Can't be much worse!
4.) 13 Jan 2026 09:17:59
Maybe OGS is our new striker with Premier League experience rather than coming as a coach?
In all seriousness, buying Gallagher made little sense to me. Loan maybe.
Neves I’ve always liked, but again don’t think he’s the guy for us either. We need legs in there who can bust a gut and cover every blade of grass.
5.) 13 Jan 2026 12:34:24
Maybe Hackney from 'Boro. Blossomed under Carrick.
6.) 13 Jan 2026 17:30:35
That’s a great shout ConwyRed. Believe he was highly tipped to make a big move also? Imagine wouldn’t affect the summer budget either?!
7.) 14 Jan 2026 12:55:47
As bad as Ugarte is surely they won't let him go out on loan without bringing in someone to replace him. Mind you nothing suprises me now when Man United are involved.
Please let it be Dalot going out on loan next.
8.) 14 Jan 2026 18:50:42
Heard on a podcast this afternoon that neves is keen and inside utd are too, as uts around £19m.
Just what I heard on a transfer rumour podcast. would he improve us?
9.) 14 Jan 2026 21:16:31
Jimbo Gallagher's salary would put him in our top bracket and as such would need to be a regular starter over the next few years. If we actually have ambition then he's not right for us. On loan I'd have been very happy to get him as he definitely would start this year.
14 Aug 2025 20:55:18
Rumour deal agreed with Brighton € 112 million, be amazing if true!
1.) 14 Aug 2025 22:00:31
Amazing profit for them too.
2.) 15 Aug 2025 03:59:38
I can't see us spending anything like that.
3.) 15 Aug 2025 07:54:09
I also can’t see that being true.
If for some reason this is true, I already feel bad for Baleba. He would be joining a great club but with the amount of press United get, he would need to score a hatrick every game for the press to not constantly run stories saying £100m flop!
4.) 16 Aug 2025 21:52:38
Not sure about that Fallguy.
As long as he runs around a bit he'll be fine.
06 Aug 2025 21:15:31
Everyone believed we had a small budget, but now it is looking like we have 3 players in costing around 220 million and we are still shopping, CDM next please ???.
1.) 06 Aug 2025 23:18:49
Installments ?.
2.) 07 Aug 2025 03:57:47
I’m convinced we’ve agreed to sell Bruno to the Saudis and are just holding off on making the announcement until after we’ve got all of our other business wrapped up. Assuming the Sesko deal goes through, we’ll have dropped around £200m on him, Cunha, and Mbuemo, and we’re reportedly willing to spend another £70m+ on Baleba (and potentially more still on a keeper) .
I just don’t see how we can balance the books without significant sales, and the only player we have who could bring in that amount of cash would be Bruno.
3.) 07 Aug 2025 07:52:20
Greenwood to Saudi for 150m will help. if that materialises.
4.) 07 Aug 2025 09:09:48
Redseven, I have to say, I’m inclined to agree. I do wonder if United wanted Fernandes and maybe Casemiro on the US Tour for marketing reasons and merchandise but will sell both to Saudi (assuming there is interest) for big fees.
5.) 07 Aug 2025 09:33:06
Ports, my understanding is that both have said they want to stay at United.
6.) 07 Aug 2025 09:46:04
I'm not sure how we are affording all of this but as the wise Ed002 used to say it's pointless talking about finances as we don't understand them.
I'm pretty sure the new owners will have a calculated, well thought out plan.
Maybe they have investment coming in from somewhere, maybe there are planned sales to cover the costs, or maybe they are going big this summer with the intention of not spending as much next year when prices will inevitably be inflated due to the world cup, or maybe it's a massive roll of the dice with the aim of getting UCL football to cover the costs.
I know the fees will be paid over many years and not all upfront, which is how all fees are paid pretty much. Yet there was a report that United still owe between 300-400m on transfer fees for players already at the club. Buying on credit is fine, but eventually you have to pay that off. While hopefully the amount owed doesn't negatively impact you in the meantime.
I'll of course be over the moon if we can tie up deals for Sesko and Baleba before the window closes. And I'll just have to trust that the club know what they are doing, it does feel like for the first time in 18 years that we actually have people with the required experience and expertise running the club. I think my anxiety over the clubs potential spending this summer stems from the incompetency of the previous administration of the club.
7.) 07 Aug 2025 10:28:23
It just goes to prove that many are wasting their time preaching on here about fag packet math…. Pointless trying to make sense of anything if you are not in possession of the facts.
United employ many people who are better qualified in accountancy and more importantly know the facts, so I leave it to them, not try to second guess what we have or don’t have, it’s of no concern to me.
8.) 07 Aug 2025 11:19:12
Whilst not ideal we would have until June 2026 to balance this financial years accounts so we could be working on the basis that we will have to do some early sales next year.
If that is Bruno then I am sure we could do that easily with Saudi.
If Sesko is coming in I would expect us to try and move Hojlund on, PSR wise we may take a hit but would help with the cash. I also expect the Antony/ Garnacho deals to be done at some point so we have that as potential income.
04 Aug 2025 11:19:41
A game of cat and mouse around us buying a CDM, we want Hjulmund from Sporting, but so do Juve, they have already spoken to the player, but price is their issue They need to sell, bit like United. If we buy Luiz, they can buy Hjulmund, if we can sell a few we can try for him. All a waiting game for now.
1.) 04 Aug 2025 12:34:59
Both are an improvement on what we have. I'm happy to gradually improve positions in small jumps to gradually get us back where we should be.
"It's a marathon, not a sprint" as they say.
2.) 04 Aug 2025 13:57:41
Not keen on buying someone who isn’t wanted so the selling team can get the player we should have gone. I suspect by next summer Luiz would be on the bench. Buy cheap pay twice type thingy.
3.) 04 Aug 2025 14:54:30
Cant help but feel we missed a rick on Joao Palhinha. Loan with option to buy would have got us through this year, or maybe any other deals, including loans impact our ability to bring in the striker we want.
4.) 04 Aug 2025 19:57:06
There is absolutely no difference between Hjulmand and Ugarte. Both lack pace and finesse on the ball. Would be a total waste when we have his carbon copy already.
5.) 05 Aug 2025 06:18:11
TBF Hjulmand is a bit better than Ugarte, but I agree the difference is minimal and hardly worth the bother, we can’t surely not buy another slow one paced player! We got enough of those already.
6.) 05 Aug 2025 10:15:59
What we really need is athleticism in midfield, pace, power and mobility.
A lot of us want a playmaker type of player, but Amorim doesn't tend to go for that kind of midfielder, they need to be technically sound and press resistant, but not a Pirlo/ Carrick/ Scholes type passing metronome.
What we really need is a player similar to Ugarte, but someone who is quicker and a bit better on the ball. If they are tall and good aerially that would be a bonus given our lack of height.
Hjulmand meets a a fair amount of that, but he lacks pace and agility which will cause him problems in the fast paced EPL. I think he looks perfect for either La Liga or Serie A, but could face issues in the EPL and the Bundesliga (due to its transitional style) .
I think we need someone quicker across the ground and more agile.
7.) 05 Aug 2025 14:56:54
I been banging on, about we seriously need pace in the spine of this team, it’s all far too slow, even our keeper is very slow, our CB is slow, Ugarte is slow and can’t pass a ball 10 yards, Mainoo got no pace and not mobile same with Cass now, although with Cass experience he can make up a bit for that and is still our best midfielder by a country mile.
If we go into season with Ugarte and Mainoo in midfield and Deligt or Martinez at CB it’s going to be a long hard season.
I know for a fact RA is looking desperately for pace and experience at CB… but it’s gone in buying forwards first because of circumstance.
21 Jun 2025 15:03:44
So we have some positive news, all be it from the media, clubs now looking at Sancho, Rashford, Nacho and Hojlund, we hopefully be looking at around 130 -150 mill, we still have Antony, Malacia and maybe Mount and Onana. We would have to replace the keeper Martinez from Villa, 35 mill mentioned. So we need to get Mbeumbo over the line, hopefully the funds are already there for that and then try and get a CF and CDM for around 130million, simple ???.
1.) 21 Jun 2025 15:55:06
Don't expect to see mount leave.
2.) 21 Jun 2025 16:22:31
Yes, simple. ?.
3.) 21 Jun 2025 17:02:03
I think we are working on the outgoings now.
Wouldn’t be surprised to see one out and one in.
Eg Sancho to Napoli unlocks Bryan Mbeumo.
Mbuemo looks a done deal and can only thing the delay is for us to work on outgoings.
4.) 21 Jun 2025 17:04:45
Where do u see this?
Ornstein and a few reliable ones didn't mention anything in the last days.
5.) 21 Jun 2025 19:07:26
this morning a tabloid had keeper martinez from villa at 17 mill. personally anything over 20 i won't be interested.
6.) 21 Jun 2025 19:07:47
Orny is reliable but plays it safe and late.
Theres a lot of reports of Sancho to Napoli and Juventus. Garnacho to Napoli, Athletico, Villa.
I’ve not seen anything on Rashford tbf.
7.) 21 Jun 2025 21:00:12
A lot of reports suggesting different clubs generally means nothing concrete. All it means is that an agent has been offering their player around, and a few clubs could, potentially, be interested. It doesn’t indicate any agreement on fees, or even agreement with the player on salary.
With Sancho, we know the biggest barrier to a transfer is his wage demands. He rejected Chelsea’s offer, and I can’t see any club in Italy offering better wages than they offered him.
With Garnacho, the club have placed a high valuation on him. Amorim is happy to keep him as a squad player, and his contract is locked down for another few years. I’m not entirely convinced clubs will be willing to meet United’s valuation. Clubs are probably looking at him, but there has been no evidence of anyone making an actual approach.
8.) 22 Jun 2025 10:10:48
I think of the 4 attacking players on offer, Garnacho is the one I'd prefer to retain. He gets me off my seat more than the others, is on the least wages, has the high.
9.) 22 Jun 2025 10:28:54
Oops. Highest ceiling, best attitude (albeit not in best light this season)
10.) 22 Jun 2025 15:27:27
Best attitude, what you been smoking, when he first broke into team, manager and then Bruno had to have words with him about attitude…that’s even on record. Then last season twice throwing toys out
Argentina management team also said attitude problems…
If that’s a good attitude then well I am not sure what standards your setting!
11.) 22 Jun 2025 21:30:22
If those 4 helmet, yes, he has the best attitude.
Jeez I wish you could read.
Anthony is mentally too weak for the EPL, those are facts.
Rashford basically refused to play the way the coach wanted to play.
Sancho, same thing and then took to Twitter.
Yes Garnacho loves a tweet, but of those FOUR, he has the best attitude.
Take when RA took over, him and rashford were dropped, one kicked himself up these arse and trained and was one of our more exciting players last year, the other went on loan and smashed the last nail into his boyhood club coffin.
He should have started the final, and it probably would have been a different outcome, but that is in the past. Maybe he isn't sold, maybe he becomes a squad player.
I still hope he does stay, because he gets me off my seat, and that is the UTD way.
12.) 22 Jun 2025 22:14:47
Mentally to weak doesn’t mean he has a bad attitude though.
Wearing an oppositions shirt with a players name who you’ve listed above, cracking attitude ??.
13.) 22 Jun 2025 22:33:13
Antony had/ has the best attitude of the 4 by a country mile.
Garnacho has displayed really bad traits time and again. As has rashford and sancho towards the club the manager and their teammates.
Anthony happy to take a pay cut to move on.
I do not want garnacho to stay more importantly RA doesn't.
Fine player mind you and he will do well which is good for us as we will get cuts off all his future fees as his development club.
14.) 23 Jun 2025 02:37:48
Garnacho is gone guys, pictured wearing a Vila shirt with Rashford on the back, no way back after that and confirms RA is right to ditch if he thinks that is the correct way to behave.
15.) 23 Jun 2025 03:03:33
If Anthony's attitude was so great, how come he can't overcome his mental fragility. just saying. It is mind over matter, and his attitude stinks, otherwise he would come back and perform like he has done at Betis, in the blink of an eye.
16.) 23 Jun 2025 05:57:01
You said Antony weak mentality FACT, Dimbo, how on earth is that a fact, but only in your head does not make it a fact, you don’t know him, you never met him, your not his Doctor, Manager or coach…therapist or anything, so it’s hardly a fact, then to say he should be able to come back and play like he is at Betis, That’s laughable and aren’t you the one who got audacity to tell others they know nothing about football!
Oh and yeah your rubbish about Garnacho having best attitude, that’s aged really well ain’t it……
Mind boggles with the inept.
17.) 23 Jun 2025 06:54:59
Helmet. anthony was given time away from the club to deal with his mental health. that is a fact.
Also, it has nothing to do with football, so not sure why you're circling back to that old comment about you knowing nothing about football.
Further to your lack of football knowledge, it seems you also skipped basic English language classes, your writing is atrocious, at best. I can forgive the odd spelling mistake from autocorrect etc, but half your trollop is unreadable.
Coming back to Anthony, if he was mentally strong, he would be able to come back to UTD and deliver the goods, but he can't.
What has aged well about Garnacho having a better attitude (? ), he has, of those 4. It comes down to Anthony vs Garnacho, the other two aren't even worth talking about.
Between Anthony and Garnacho, where is Anthony better, in any quality?
18.) 23 Jun 2025 20:09:00
Just caught up with this thread and am loving the fact we’re using words like dimbo and helmet ?
Takes me back to infant school.
19.) 23 Jun 2025 23:06:15
Wasn't it dimlo 2toms?
Helmet showing his creativity is void of any substance, yet again.
At least mine has some depth to it ?.

Looking forward to how we setup for the next two games, we will have more possession and can't just play on the break. Very interested in what team Carrick puts out, Dorgu is out, so easy change is Cunha in, and play further up the pitch, but this doesn't suit Maguires lack of pace. can't waot for it, really enjoying watchi g us lately.
1.) 27 Jan 2026 22:51:48
Cunha in, no brainer.
I do wonder if it suits us more to have another ball playing CB in lieu of Maguire to cover any counters against us. Yoro or heaven, probably the latter getting the nod.
25 Jan 2026 19:44:46
Super performance again, great watching us now. Still can't understand how Arsenal keep getting away with just pushing every player in on top of the goal line at corners, they have been given goals in our last 3 visits to emirates. I was off my seat for our second and third goals, like the 90s again.
Great credit to Carrick and his staff, we said these players were under performing, but what a difference now. Confidence is high now hopefully we can keep this high level and workrate in our remaining games.
1.) 25 Jan 2026 20:47:33
Football is about balance. Keeping players behind the ball and more balance in midfield is what has made the difference. Bruno still gives the ball away, but he is less of a liability further forwards and his passes and play have more impact. The guy is one of the best 10s around, not one of the best 8s.
Last 2 games have been great. Perfect team selection. We played with a plan and executed perfectly. At arsenal the team really played well across the game. Weathered the early arsenal pressure and slowly took over the game. Players like McGuire, Dalot, Shaw, Martinez, casemiro, mainoo all performed exactly how we needed for the whole game. Martinez was exposed for the two fairly lucky goals for the gunners - but with the ball he was fantastic and really impacts our team. I remember a mainoo give away that put us on the back foot and had me cursing - but all game he and casemiro worked well together to shield the back four and launch our play forwards.
This was an eth team resurrected. The additions of lamens, dorgu, amad and mbueno made all the difference. Solid unit at the back and more assurity with the ball in the front line.
So now to the real challenge, Fulham and other teams lying in wait, will not be so naive to play high lines against us. We will be expected to have possession and create chances against a set defense. Can this team, this squad do enough to breakdown deep lying teams? Can casemiro, mainoo, McGuire and co press the play high and close the space without leaking goals on the break?
Very interesting week's ahead. Hope they can keep this run going.
2.) 25 Jan 2026 20:51:03
Incredible scenes. Brilliant performance, again.
Literally more progress in 2 games than the last 14 months under Amorim’s regime.
Let’s see how we handle Fulham up next.
It’d be travesty if Arsenal win the title playing that type of football.
3.) 25 Jan 2026 21:29:04
I think that's a bit unfair Eric and actually vastly off the mark in terms of progress. We would have won both games with or without Amorim IMO.
We have been making progress from the Eth days and the days before him and the days before that manager prior etc etc.
As the OP quite rightly states, how we handle the Fulham and Spurs and West ham games next is the real test for me, then we can see more progress.
We may even switch out a couple of players to allow us to play a more pressing game, i. e. bring heaven back in for instance.
4.) 25 Jan 2026 22:33:50
Jim,
You think we would have won both of those games under Amorim? We rarely won one game, we won 2 in a row once in 15 months. I liked Amorim but we would not have won both of those games under him, not in a million years. We lost against both teams earlier in the season under him.
5.) 25 Jan 2026 23:01:21
Alright jimbo ?
We would have not won those with Amorim. What we are seeing is a completely different team.
6.) 25 Jan 2026 23:17:21
Utter nonsense Jim.
No way Amorim is bringing on Sesko and Cunha looking to win that game. His record was appalling, and players regressed under him.
Glad he’s gone. Terrible manager for us.
7.) 25 Jan 2026 23:18:17
Ah give it up GDS. Can you not just see that we clearly had improved under Amorim and were very well coached. You can equally then say that Carrick seems to be a better motivator and seems to make better lineup and substitution decisions. You can credit Carrick without tearing down Amorim.
8.) 26 Jan 2026 00:18:48
That’s a cracker Jimbob.
We may have beaten a weakened City but I very much doubt the Amorim team selection and/or formation would beat Arsenal.
9.) 26 Jan 2026 00:59:35
Yes I think we would have won both games under Amorim.
I also believed we would win them both under Carrick, and backed him to the hilt at the bookies too.
My point is we had been making progress, irrespective of the manager, to the point I felt we would have won both games.
So to that end, yes, we probably are. looking at different games, as I had seen the progress during the latter months of Amorim tenure.
Maybe that progress is being accelerated now that we are aying a formation suited to the cattle. Will the club continue the trend towards a 3 at the back approach as they churn through the crap we still have on our books, who knows, that's outside of our hands.
10.) 26 Jan 2026 03:16:22
we lose both games under amorim in my opinion. he would select a different team, different formation and players being asked to play in positions that does not suit them. Its a bit rich to make that statement when we were second best against 10 man Everton, westham, wolves etc etc and just so so poor to watch game after game with the occasional decent performance. I liked the man but the pl is a step too far too soon for him. got tired of listening to him telling the world how the players were no good.
We are not too far and a good summer window will make this team very good. Kudos to Shaw and whatever the club did to get him back from his injury, he is just an excellent footballer in all aspects of the game.
11.) 26 Jan 2026 03:51:11
Keefy we very nearly and probably should have beaten arsenal early in the season, under Amorim.
I really don't know why people cannot give credit where it is due to a manager who ripped the bad blood out of our terrible squad.
What we are seeing now is the fruits of his mental strength to stop the rot.
More work needed. Is Carrick the man, maybe his motivational skills are enough to get him through to the main gig.
12.) 26 Jan 2026 07:20:01
Donred, his record speaks volumes as manager, it was shocking.
Jimbo it was not progress, we failed to beat 6 of the 7 teams in the bottom positions during the months leading to his sacking.
He is gone now, and the team already look like a weight has lifted.
The next 5 games are really winnable and we could find ourselves in an incredible position after this run. I'm extremely optimistic.
13.) 26 Jan 2026 08:23:03
Angel you are utterly simplistic. Your way of viewing things is so myopic. I can't engage with any more on this as you are determined to rewrite history and continue in this ridiculous binary view. You need to grow up fella.
14.) 26 Jan 2026 09:33:08
Don, Jim, you will not change the mind of Mr 32%, but you have read him correctly, I think. Unfortunately, some feel the need for instant gratification, so they fail to see progress and that a complete rebuild takes time. God help Carrick if it all falls apart because the wolves will be circling very quickly.
15.) 26 Jan 2026 15:35:20
Don,
Are you the one that wrote the bit on xG and tried to school everyone who disagreed? Yet won’t just look at facts, we won 2 in a row once in the whole time he was here, we would not have beaten City and Arsenal with him as manager, it’s as simple as that, nobody is bashing him, it’s just facts. your reaction to this is crazy.
16.) 26 Jan 2026 18:21:47
Guys, our squad was littered with oxygen thieves. A lot have since departed, more to go. That was down to Amorim, that is a fact, he did not suffer fools and it was a refreshing change. But he was too stubborn and rigid, I accept that. But to say we did not make progress is idiotic.
Yu can say what you want about the results, and football is a results driven business, he got the boot because he called out the management team, and he was right to do that, Wilcox is a fraud.
He would still be manager if he hadn't had his outburst, that is a fact.
I think he would have won both games, others don't, neither of us know and to state it as a fact is being stupid.
I for one hope that Carrick win the next 15 games, I have stated from the start of the season that we will win the league and believe we are still in with a shout.
{Ed025's Note - say no to drugs..
24 Jan 2026 20:14:37
Another chance to get into the top 4, scousers having a great season ????.
1.) 24 Jan 2026 21:02:57
We keep on cocking it up as well!
22 Jan 2026 19:15:39
Unfortunatley l think they will not buy or loan players in until the summer. More plyers out especially on big wages, Cas, Rash, Sancho, Harry, Urgarte, Zirkzee, Onana, Bayndir Shaw maybe a few more. Can see a few you lads being promoted and 3 to 4 new faces.
1.) 22 Jan 2026 22:05:13
Shaw will not leave.
2.) 23 Jan 2026 01:00:48
Wouldn't be surprised to see Harry offered another year. He's a couple of years younger than VVD and when fit has performed well. We'll have a bit more money to spend if we make it into Europe but, if not, we will have to concentrate our spending in midfield. About frigging time. A top CB's going to cost in the region of £25-£30m a year in pay and amortization. Harry will cost us maybe only £6-8m. Likewise Luke Shaw who has been a solid asset this year. Replacing him with a top LB will double the annual cost. and could you guarantee the new player would be any better? With Sancho out of contract it only save us the amortization since Villa are paying his salary this year.
Cas leaving will save us £30m in pay and amortization. Hopefully we can sell Onana, Ugarte, and Zirkzee. There's no guarantee we'll be able to sell Rashford. Barcelona have pay cap issues. It may end up being another loan, but at least we won't have any cost. If Hojlund meets the performance requirements in his loan agreement, which looks likely, we should get rid of his amortization cost and make a £15m transfer profit.
3.) 23 Jan 2026 02:19:18
Shame.
4.) 23 Jan 2026 09:01:55
I think the players to leave will be as follows
Expiring contracts
Casemiro
Sancho- thank god
Malacia
Maguire
Players to be sold
Rashford
Zirkzee
Hojlund- obligation should be triggered.
Ugarte- if midfield replacments are sucesfull but he could stay due to the amount of work required.
Bayindir
Onana - neither of keepers mentioned are good enough
I know it sounds greedy but if we are to qualify for Europe mext season and have ambition to go further in all comps we realisticlaly need at least 4 starting level players for the midfield 2 spots.
So Mainoo and 3 new additions.
Hopefully 2 out of Anderson, Baleba and Wharton. And one more that can compete for a starting spot. Maybe the prospect we signed will be rotation.
Also feel we need a LW as well as a top CB and a back up keeper to get the squad something close to competitive.
5.) 23 Jan 2026 09:41:32
Think them players leaving are a solid call Karl although I can see Maguire getting another year which I wouldn't be against we have the keeper from Bristol coming back from loan who I think is good enough to be number 2.
Baleba looks like he might be out first buy depending on money seeing as what was said in the summer.

If our Cb's can stay fit i would be happy if the summer focus was midfield like it was for attack this summer.
I wouldn't be against a Maguire extension for a rotation and leadership qualities.
I know its dreamland/football manager but my perfect summer would be.
Midfield- Wharton and either of Baleba or Anderson.
LW- Yan Diomande (think this guy is going to be very special)
CB- Schlotterbeck/ Bastoni.

Can see why Casemiro is leaving but hurts seeing him go before a few of the absolute crap here to be honest. wouldn't have opposed to a one year rolling deal for him.
8.) 23 Jan 2026 11:05:30
I am hopeful that we will see another tranch of players leaving this summer and we go again with our recruitment. It looks like we will be in a far better position PSR related, actual cash to do deals who knows!
Hopefully we will see the sales of Rashford, Zirkzee, Hojlund and Ugarte. End of contracts for Casimero (was hoping we would extend for 1 year), Sancho (finally! ), Malacia. I expect Maguire to get a years extension on reduced wages and if we retain him, Martinez, Yoro, De Ligt and Heaven this gives us enough cover for the 2 centre back roles and a range of youth and experiece. If need be we can look at this area the following year with midfield the key focus of spend.
Mainoo I would expect to kick on now and settle more into a midfield that suits him and hopefully ups his game. Then we can look at a couple of quality additions (Baleba/Wharton/Anderson) to compliment/split game time across what will hopefully be a fuller calender next year with cups/europe.

You can’t discount Rashford coming back to play LW if his Barcelona moves didn’t happen depending on who our new coach is.
He’d also be useful as a striker rotation. Would save millions in the transfer market
I see no issues giving Harry M an extension on reduced terms. Great experience for a squad player to guide Yoro and Heaven.
The initial investment has to be at least 2 midfielders to replace Cas and Ugarte.
10.) 23 Jan 2026 11:23:36
Casemiro Maguire and Bruno are 3 of the top 5 of our highest earners still on the books so it makes sense why we would want to move them on this summer.
11.) 23 Jan 2026 12:36:27
Think Fernandes will stay on now, will need some experience and leadership with Casemiro leaving now. Would like to see the club look at the RB position although I guess Mazraoui could take the role for the season.
12.) 23 Jan 2026 13:27:33
I think your can discount rashford. He has scored in 3 la liga games this season. Don't want or need him back.
Rasmus has scored in 3 seria a games. Pair of bluffers.
13.) 23 Jan 2026 13:28:26
I think all 3 will go. Maguire most likely of the 3 to stay i think.
14.) 23 Jan 2026 19:30:24
Rashford has scored 8 total and has contributed around 10 assists. Apparently Barcelona would like to keep him but they have financial issues.
Hojlund has 6 in serie A, plus a couple of cup goals.
15.) 23 Jan 2026 21:36:18
As i said new name rasmus has scored in 3 league games as has Rashford.
It's not me need but they are not the solution to our problems.
16.) 24 Jan 2026 20:56:50
Bruno is in 10 is the best there is. Keep him next 2/3 years for me. Rarely injured. Our best player since Fergie left without a date. Without him where would we be? He’s on big wages for a reason and so be it.
Casemiro gone, HM worth keeping another year. Weird the hate Bruno gets. Who is going to hit the ground running to replace his goals and assists?
13 Jan 2026 10:09:56
We are spending more on getting rid of Managers and their staff than on players lately ???.
1.) 13 Jan 2026 15:47:00
At this rate Jim will have gone through as many coaching staff as canteen staff.
2.) 14 Jan 2026 12:44:40
England never beat anyone they were not favourite to do.

Disaster sell him for any price, he's usless, 33 and on 190 grand a week, no brainer!
25 Aug 2024 20:47:38
Than you.
20 Jan 2026 19:20:31
Pep famous for tgat tactic, foul around halfway lines, to stop the fast break, usually get away with it, Rodri is a master at it.
25 Jul 2025 15:09:48
They could buy Secko and Garnacho.
13 Jul 2025 16:51:49
He's still very young, needs an injury free season to back the levels he showd in his his season. I'm sure he will be a big player next season still for us.
07 May 2025 20:31:03
Remember that goal, was he only 17 at the time? Yip Remember when it left his foot is was always going in.
22 Feb 2025 19:50:12
Saying it for years he is useless, if he wasn't English he would be critised way more. Biggest was of 80+ million ever.
