How the **** do Chelsea do it?
They have managed to sell Joao Felix a player that has done absolutely f*ck all for over 3 seasons now and they get 50 million euros for him and we can't rid on Garnacho who is younger and miles better than Felix.

Garnacho doesn't want to go to Saudi Arabia, that's the problem.

The glaring difference is that Felix was prepared to go to a Saudi club, whereas Garnacho has stated that he won't go there.
Had Garnacho been willing to go to a Saudi club, there is absolutely no chance that Al-Nassr would be signing Felix in his stead.
Nobody in Europe would pay that for Felix, it's just irritatingly fortunate for Chelsea that they've managed to get such a comforting return on a player who, for all his natural ability, is a bit of a lummox.

I think its a combination of reasons.
United overpaid players in terms of fees and wages making then unattractive.
Everything United do has a million articles so everyone knows the players aren't wanted so hold out for better deals
United have a bad reputation as deal makers encouraging people to chance their arm.
The people who have run the football side at United have been described as amateurs
United have PSR problems and their part owner ran around telling the world we were about to run out of money at Christmas so we appear desperate.
What United need to do is establish a reputation for being competant and professional. Conduct their affairs quietly and just get done what they need to do and ignore the noise.
United will always be a headline so you won't keep United out of the news but at least some of stories could be positive which hasn't happened much over the last few years.

I don't blame Garnacho for not wanting to go to Saudi as he's still young and want's to stay here in the premier league.
I can't understand why the likes of Tottenham or Newcastle arn't interested in him. Yes he's can be silly and petty but there is a proper player in there. What are we asking for him 40-45 million?
It's a no brainerfor me an absolute bargain.

Absolute bargain. that no one actually wants, that says it all, it was not helped by RA remarks and banishing him, but he ain’t that good that’s why no one wants him.

He's better than a lot of the sh*t that's gone in this window.
28 Jul 2025 18:27:43
If he doesn't sign for anybody he won't play much at united if at all. He will be gone soon enough.
He has not developed as well as I thought he might but still time if he finds the right team and coach he could have a really good career at the ball is in his court really. A change of attitude and scenery could see him get back on track.

I always thought Garnacho was going to develop into a quality player for us but through reasons of his attitude, the club etc he feels like he has gone backwards.
If you were his agent, ignoring wages . where would be the best league/ club for him.
Lots of stories about wanting to stay in premier league. I am sure lots of reasons for that but whether that is best for his career I am not sure.

Garnacho never really kicked on sadly, started off like house on fire but like many youngsters all the hype went to his head and then seemed to go backwards, was that due to not putting the work in, was it due to becoming billy big b******* or had he just hit his ceiling, who knows but one thing is for sure he needs to be gone and for the ones saying playing him as number 9 surely your joking, he is a woeful finisher, probably worse than Rasmus and Zirkee and that’s saying something!
I think he would be better going to Spain or Italy and playing in those leagues where he would be much better suited, but in his mind he thinks that would be Barcelona or Madrid…but not a chance…he just not good enough, another kid going backwards hence reason we need to buy an experienced forward, we can’t keep buying potential.

Wanting to stay in the Premier League is all well and good, but I don’t think he’s good enough to start for any of the teams that could afford to pay his asking price, and I don’t think any of those clubs would want to spend that kind of money on a player who’ll be sitting on the bench most weeks; especially when that player reportedly has issues with his attitude.
He should have gone to Saudi for two years to play with his idol and then returned to Europe with a big signing on fee.
