Isaac putting in a transfer request is there any way we can make a deal happen or get funds to make this happen ? the idea of Liverpool signing him and elitike would kill me off.

They've currently spent around 300m on Frimpong, Kerkez, Wirtz and Ekitike. If they were to sign Isak as well who has to cost a bare minimum of 150m in the current market then they'll be looking to spend in excess of 450m this summer. Surely they can't afford to do that?
Or have they got wind that the EPL won't punish City for their breaches of the FFP/ PSR rules and Liverpool are like "f**k it, the rules don't apply anymore".
{Ed001's Note - can afford it easily. Right now Liverpool have spent less over the 3 year period than United have. A lot less. Even the addition of Isak would still leave United having spent more over the period, by a significant margin.}

Not to mention that Liverpool have revenues > £700m in 2024/ 5 and maybe even more in the coming year. What are United without any European football going to be projecting in 2025/ 6? I'd be surprised if it's much more than £575m.

I've got a sneaky feeling we might see Isak go to PSG, with Sesko coming in as his replacement.
Realistically, we wouldn't even get Isak's sack right now.

I never really compared them like that and i had half ab hour to kill so it made me dig out some figures from 2022 to now in millions of £ source transfermarket:
Liverpool - Writz 116.5, Nunez 85.3, Szobosz 60.1, Diaz 50, Gakpo 44, Kerkez 40, Frimpong 35, Pecsi 1.5, Giorgi 26.1, Chiesa 10.5, MacAllister 36.6, Gravenberch 34.8, Endo 17.4, Carvalho 8.1, Ramsay 4.3, total 570.2 million pounds
Utd - Mbuemo 65.3, Cunha 64.4, Leon 3.4, Yoro 54, Ugarte 43.5, MDL 39.1, Zirkzee 37, Dorgu 26.1, Maz 15, Heaven 1.5, Hojlund 67.7, Mount 59, Onana 43.7, Altay 4.3, Antony 82.7, Cas 61.4, Martinez 49.9, Malacia 13, is 731 million pounds.
Hence a difference of £160 mil
If Lpool spend £150mil on Isak the margin will still be 10m.

Liverpool spent very little last year, they also will likely sell Nunez and Diaz for good money.
We just have to accept that we have hamstrung ourselves for a few years and need to work within our constraints whilst Liverpool/ Chelsea etc find ways of making it work.
Hopefully in a few years we will be in a better position but with the debt it will always be difficult.
