So looks like sancho is gone and rashford gone on loan with no wages to supplement which is good for the squad.
Malacia will surely find a club at 3 or 4 million i'd hope.
Garnacho will attract buyers between now and window closing and I think antony won't be short of offers so he will move on too.

Lots of poor players still to move on after these 5 but starting the season without any of the above 5 will be a good thing for all concerned.
Id hope rashford does well he is joining a great team and squad full of really good players it should be a great experience for him. Great opportunity to get his love back for the game. Hopefully he acts more professionally there than he has at united and tries his best.

For someone so unprofessional, he only received one fine from the club ken. Not sure where you get the facts of 12 fines and 3 bans from the club.

For the clubs sake, they need to move these players on as it will financially allow them to buy others. Ones that RA can hopefully coach.

It should have a big impact and sends out a clear message, just need a couple more in and hopefully we start the climb upwards.

Getting rid of their wages and the media negativity surrounding them is a huge plus. Put it this way, if rashford doesn’t perform at Barcelona where he’s been begging to go, then I’m not sure he has a career left. Think he’ll tear it up, new surroundings, fully moyivated and a chip on his shoulder.

A saving in wages of over £32M a year, assuming we replace them with players on sensible wages, that will still be a very sizeable saving.

I recall Amorim suggested he'd rather give a place on the bench to his 63-year-old goalkeeping coach instead of Marcus Rashford because of a perceived lack of effort. Do you remember that?
I watched games where he clearly didn’t try. That’s not acceptable at any level, no excuse for it.

As AJH says, it sends a long overdue message.

Claims were made on here about a footballer and person, who by all accounts is a very decent person. All I asked was to back it up and show the receipts.

Red man, I thought that was an incredibly disrespectful quote used against a player that played 6 times, scoring 3 goals under RA.

Surely getting rid of him sorted. Oh, no, wait he had a 24% win rate after that.

Mistakes have been made on both sides both club and player but I believe he gets unfairly hammered on here. So asking for someone to cite the 3 bans and 12 fines, isn't out of order.

The club also have acted unprofessionally towards many players in recent times.

So RA used hurty words to Rashford. Poor chap!

I get where you're coming from, most of the negativity concerning Rashford's influence at the club was driven by the frauds of the media world chucking out the click bait tripe. However, there have been occasions where he and/ or his team have liked or reposted stuff, there have also been the parties after poor high-profile games where he should bloody well know the hacks will be out stalking for him.

The actual hate for him as a person is a weird one for me. Do I think he's necessarily the best person to be talking about their experience of poverty? No, I'd certainly rather hear from his mother. However, he has a certain platform and, with it, seeks to encourage initiatives and push the consensus concerning impoverished kids - whatever else he does, that alone makes him a decent human.

The suggested bans and fines are utterly immaterial to me, it's just the downright laziness I've seen a matter of metres away from me that I have a problem with.

If I've paid a veritable fortune for my family to watch a game live, seeing my kids aghast in the presence of one of their idols, do I f*** appreciate seeing a racehorse of an athlete with an immense engine puffing his cheeks and strolling about in a sulk when he has lost the ball.

He has had an awful lot of stuff thrown at him, the penalty miss fallout being the perfect example of just how dumb, pathetic, spineless and racist some football fans are, and I didn't agree with Amorim's words re: the GK coach, but he hasn't helped to dispel the narrative of him being a negative influence at the club, instead he has fed it the odd nugget of 'What? ' that can be woven into the net of negativity that the media want to enshroud the club with.

The problem with that is that it means one of only two options applies - either he is being poorly advised and lacks the maturity to be circumspect and cynical when the vultures are likely about, or he doesn't care enough because his profile is served.

As much for his sake as the club's, this exit is the best thing that could happen right now.

You might think I hammer him unfairly, and that's fine, that's your opinion, but I consider myself rather an objective person who will call out any player who lazily strolls around in front of me when I've spent a fortune to watch a game. He's not the only one - Fernandes does it, Garnacho does it, Sancho does it - and good grief does it wind me up, but only Fernandes avoids adding layers to that by showing discontent at being a United player.

Rashford does get hammered on here, some deserved, some not, but he honestly doesn't help himself.
