With Mbeumo set to complete his medical and become our third signing of the summer after Cunha and Leon, I do wonder which players will be next on the hit list.

We need to bring in a CF, a keeper and a midfielder at least this summer. Yet we won't have the cash to splash on all three positions so will have to be savvy with our spending.

I'm interested to see who everyone else thinks we will or should sign this summer.

Personally, I think we will agree deals for Rashford and Sancho to leave for Barcelona and Juventus respectively. I think Garnacho might be key in bringing in a striker.

Apparently he only wants to go to an EPL team and the only two to show any interest is Villa and Chelsea. I think there might be some kind of agreement potentially to be made where we sell them Garnacho and we bring in either Watkins or Jackson.

While I have reservations on both of them for different reasons. Both of them are EPL proven and improve us, while there aren't many options really available that would be willing to join us.

In goal I think we will pull the trigger and sign Senne Lammens. He's got massive potential, wouldn't cost the earth, while looking perfectly suited to both the EPL and Amorim's requirements.

Midfield is the one that seems almost impossible to work out. With Bruno likely playing more in midfield this season then we need someone who pairs well with him and potentially Mainoo longer term.

The links have only been tentative but Lucien Agoumé from Sevilla looks an interesting option. Reportedly available for around €20m, he looks an ideal player for us. Albeit that I've only really seen him for the French under 21's. Tall, athletic, mobile, intelligent reading of the game and a very good passing range. Which is what we need in midfield.

I'd be very happy if we ended the summer with Cunha, Leon, Mbeumo, Watkins, Lammens and Agoumé all added to our squad.

Who do you guys think/ want us to sign?

We should go get lautaro Martinez or Osimhen for strikers position.

I want who the manager wants.
There are players i like but it's totally irrelevant.
Im hopeful we will get another 2 or 3 in.
Id like martinez for keeper a striker a cb and a cm. Maybe we can get a loan player or 2 in.
Leon and cunha looks good in the 45 min they played today as did dorogu.
Rasmus worse than usual and obi looked well short of experience and know how unsurprisingly.
Maguire makes the whole team look vulnerable imo.

Gk - Martinez
CM - Wharton
CF - Sesko

I’d be happy with Lammens but concerned he won’t have the environment to make the odd mistake and learn his craft. It’s a vastly different scenario than Dave was in when he came.

The Coach needs to have a say but the signings need be made by the exec team and be viable in other formations in case Amorim doesn’t improve his results.

The word Nil again should focus attention on a goal scorer. He needs to have pace to run in behind. I don’t think Watkins is the right age. Has Gykores actually signed for Arsenal yet?

After that. We still need a GK and a CM, Casemiro isn’t going to cut it in the PL.

I read an article where SJR indicated PSR was not the problem, it was or is cash flow.

Psr is calculated on a 3 year rolling aggregate redman. Once we went into a new financial year it took our biggest loss year out of the counting.
So we are under less pressure. We need to sell to buy as we have big commitments on players that we have not paid for.
Wage bill will come down substantially next season too.
Making the right decisions as painful as they are in order to sort the mistakes from the past.
Im very impressed with their handing of the financial quagmire.
Mistakes will always be made but I hope we see a lot less of them than we saw under the previous management.

Does the nil speak to the lack of quality opportunities created or missed chances/ poor movement of the forwards?

Today shows heaton is our best keeper and Rasmus is useless and his over inflated opinion of himself means he moans at everyone else when he is useless at everything.

When De Gea arrived, he was Onana-level hapless. However, United also had Lindegaard who was a reliable alternative.

Right now, we have two hapless options in Onana and Bayindir - Lammens is a far better GK, based on the purist perspective of shot-stopping ability and command of his area, than both.

It's good that you mention Dave because Lammens is a very similar GK, but with the added bonus of being better when dealing with high balls into the danger zone. Also, he'd be coming to United at the age of 23 - the age De Gea had to reach before his potential really started to show.

I wouldn't say he's quite at De Gea's shot-stopping level, but we aren't quite the level of club we were when Fergie brought him to OT.

Obviously, Martinez is a real world-class custodian, but he's surely not too far away from decline now and has a tendency to lose his cool - should that be considered a reasonable risk when the alternative would be so unreliable?

Nil is the key word here. Our goals against wasn't great, but was a long way from being rhe worst, whereas our goals for was truly awful. If we can score 20 to 30 more goals, we will shoot up the table.

Hey Ork. Good points. I’d prefer Heaton and Lammens over Onana or Bayinder. I think Onana is Taibi levels of hapless.

I think Onana might be the missing Stooge - I do wish he'd just scram.
