At this point, i would advise Amorim to skip his flight to the tour. Let the INEOS management take the flight instead. Pathetic window thus far. Did we win the league or what?

Pathetic in what way? We have secured our number 1 target and likely going to secure our next target as well. Then once we have made sales we will be able to get others in. You can’t force other teams to sign your players.

Still nearly 2 months to go in the window. We have known two things before it opened: firstly It won't be easy getting rid of our overpaid players at a satisfactory price, and, secondly, that our budget is limited to £100k+/ - plus whatever we can get in sales. We must also be aware that we finished barely above the relegation zone, so most top players who want to play in Europe are not coming to OT. We're going to end up with players who are buying into Amorim's program and who, no doubt, are also getting a decent wage increase.
Villa themselves have PSR problems so not surprisingly they decided not to sign Rashford. Chelsea not taking up the option on Sancho was another blow but after what was a mediocre loan spell had to be expected, and Antony was always going to be difficult given his book value is still higher than his market value. I still think Garnacho and Malacia will find buyers. Be patient and reserve judgment until the window closes, or at least closer to when it closes. This isn't a computer game.

If nobody has shown interest in signing those players so far, what’s going to change to suddenly make them attractive buys?
Nobody wants them, nobody can afford their wages. They will only leave on loan which doesn’t help raise transfer funds.

Nah Shappy, i still have a couple more left lying around. Just waiting on us to sign crap players and then still have Rashford et al with us and then will throw them.
What have we been doing for 6 months if all our activity started once the window opened? Chelsea open talks in the morning and by evening signing the player and we can't get the players in after what 250 bids? The teams that we need to be going up against our strengthening no ends and here we are chasing Calvert Lewin.

No doubt at all that garnacho rashford and sancho will be gone. What terms and deals remains to be seen. We can't sign players until those deals are in place. We just need to be patient. We can't force them out and all buyers know that tj can squeeze us. The 3 players are squeezing us and holding out for their preferred deals. Who can blame them.
There is reasons for the delays if we go out and buy and those 3 players don't take a move w
e are in a whole lot more trouble.
I'm hopeful that best case scenario happens.
Barca loan rashford with buy option we shed his 18m wages in full and rashford takes the cut to play there and won't hold club for balance.
Garnacho goes to Chelsea or Italy for 40m plus
Sancho goes to Italy and we break even.
Rasmus goes back k to Italy on loan with buy option and all wages cover by loaned.
Ideally this all happens and we get mbeumo and a grade A striker. Plus a back up striker and a keeper.
Its not addressing midfield or cb or rwb but if we get that far by end of the window i'd be delighted.

2 were on loan and garnacho was well documented prior to the window so it doesn't take a rocket scientist to work it out.
Their agents will have been touting them around for months prior to the end of the season.

Coming out and saying that they are not wanted and are for sale is basically begging teams to come in and take them for a cut price.
If I know you have something you don't want and are desperate to sell, and I know I want it but know how desperate you are. I am not offering you what it's worth, never, in fact I'll squeeze you for everything I can get.
Desperation never sells. You said it yourself, the club NEEDS to sell these players.
