Amazing how quiet this place is after a win, a decent shutout, introduction of our new keeper, more rounded performance al round, very unlucky not to score more etc etc.

Sure there will be a couple of holes that you could pick into.

Three points
None conceded
Reasonable in game subs
Move on to Liverpool.

Hes a very good keeper and he loooks like he can communicate well and actually make saves!

He’ll definitely be tested at Anfield!

The usual tulips never showed up on the chat either jim.
The club and team would be better off without them good to see another show.

Great to watch. Badly needed by boys and manager.

Sadly an International break but hopefully can carry it over to the game against them. That would truly be a corner turned!

I can show my face at the golf club again and not be ridiculed for my United attire.

Why is that, Ken? Just because people’s opinions differ from yours?

It was a good win against a poor Sunderland side on the day. I’m not getting carried away, though — we haven’t won two games in a row under RA, and based on who’s next, that probably won’t change. But Liverpool are on a bad run, and what a game it would be to turn that around.

I’ll happily hold my hands up and give credit if we get a result at Anfield — more than some on here would do who continue to slate others just for having different opinions.

Missed the game today lads as I was out with clients, at the arsenal game ? looking forward to getting home and watching the highlights but relief is that I felt when seeing the live score.

Interesting to see how lemmens got on and what you all think of him.

Am happy we got the win, that Sesko scored and the keeper had a decent debut. Got to be realistic though and say first minutes Sunderland had a good chance to score and that defensively especially in the second half we were too open and against a better team would surely have been punished.

Liverpool will be really hurting after their three losses so the match against them will be a proper test. Again being realistic they should beat us but if they do as long as because they played well and we didn't make stupid mistakes or not turn up then it will be progress. A deserved win or draw for us would be real progress.

United always turn up against the "bigger" teams so I don't think you'd have any problem with that. And we are looking extremely vulnerable after losing three on the bounce and looked insipid while doing so. As a Liverpool fan, I am worried about it as another loss would be extremely detrimental for us.

We still looked open at times but should scored more, their keeper made a couple of good saves and Amad missed a straightforward header, 3-0 at half time would not have been unfair.

The second half was flat, and CM remains the concern.

I did notice how much encouragement the players were giving Lammens, we shouldn't underestimate how much impact having a GK the players are confiednt in will have. Let's hope he's the man.

I was sat on a bus in the middle of nowhere during the game and of course the game at 3pm on a Saturday in England isn’t shown. Caught up with the highlights as much as there were. Good to get a win, difficult to comment on team set up etc on brief highlights. Let’s be honest, yes it was a newly promoted team but it became a must win high stake game so am always pleased to win. RA rightly deserved criticism for Brentford. Winning does make a difference to critique but I maintain that Bruno in CM will be a major issue even more so away from home. None more difficult than the next one.

On to crisis hit Liverpool next, not that the press will call it a crisis when losing games having spent godzillions of cash.

It was a good run of the mill win.
It was a concern we couldn’t find away once they matched us in 5 at the back.

The keeper was a huge positive. Great to Sesko score again.

I’d judge Amorim after the spurs game.

Let’s not get carried away with another false dawn and have some perspective here. We were at home against a team just promoted who looked like rabbits in headlights with 70k people shouting down on them.

But of course we have reached the level that we are so pleased nowadays to get 3 points at home against a team that will probably be fighting relegation come end of season.

Yes 3 points and very importantly clean sheet, but have some perspective it was no great show and we still looked all over the place in defence and midfield, more to do with the opposition than anything else that we got 3 points.
