Apparently Manchester United officials and Paul Pogba's agent to meet on Monday, to discuss a potential transfer. hope this is true!

Considering that Pogba's agent is Mino Riola who is the agent for both Ibrahimovic and Mkhitaryan then is it not possible that any meeting with United officials could have something to do with these guys and not Pogba.
Plus if we do sign Pogba, Zlatan and Mkhitaryan all from Riola how pissed will Jorge Mendes be after he parked his favourite client with us as our manager. Lol.

Yes the fee may be a little high, however how many players are at the level Pogba is for an age of 23?
If we can get 5 or 6 years out of him (assuming he isn't sold) then that is a great bit of business, you can look at that as an investment.
Imagine what type of player he can become under Jose. We are talking about a player who could literally be the core of the team during his prime year.
Also for a change I would like us to beat Madrid to a player.

I think no way on earth we sign him or even are interested to sign him at the numbers being quoted. He is grossly overvalued. reminds of the strootman bs a few seasons ago.

If that's the case you shouldn't be gutted. Only a handful of teams can afford Pogba, including United.
Also Ed/ s always love to remind us that Man United as a club will always over spend on players!
So yh I hope we go in for at least 80-90M and no one else matches us, then Mino finally gets what he wants, and Pogba will be one of the highest in the world let alone at United.

It's the only way it would happen.
Unless we would do a swap deal involving Periera, it would be extortion bringing him back to OT.
I wouldn't sell Periera to any one and that includes doing a swap deal for Pogba. Periera is star, and only fitting he shines at the Theatre of Dreams.
