Jose turning into a bit of a bore compared to his glory days at Chelsea. Is he the same person, has he changed?

Belfast, he hasn't been particularly charming or witty this year, we've talked about it on here, not sure what's wrong with him. He was always arrogant but he has a charm and humour about him, they seem to be missing right now.

When he is winning he is usually more witty and someone who will have a laugh with reporters. It's clear that things haven't gone exactly as he'd want over the past couple of years. If we are clear at the top of the league at any point next season I'm sure the old Jose would be seen far more often.

Even when he was winning with us 2 or 3 years ago, there was a clear difference between Mourinho then and Mourinho back when he was with us the first time. He's changed for sure. I'm not saying it's necessarily for the worse, but he has changed.

He looked way much experimental with sides. Continuous change in starting 11. Bashing players to motivate. I Hope with some additions we might see different next year. But surely the best man to carry forward.

Shaw - I think he is compounding/ causing the issue, Moyes, LVG and 'this' Jose are hardly inspiring characters to be around it seems. The team reflects the manager imo.

Sure is. Well done to Chelsea on winning the league. Fully deserved. 22 points ahead of us, so we have a lot of catching up to do next year. But I think mourinho will sort it out and hopefully we'll be more competitive next year.
We can only hope we win the Europa cup this year and kick on from there.

We have been a fourth place team all season and the cl place is very important to the club. We have to take little steps on our way back to the top. And mark my word, we will get there sooner than you think.
Chelsea were the best team in the league by far, but its a shame that their manager, players (terry, Fabregas and hazard) and their fans are not content with a fantastic achievement of winning the PL, instead, they want to rub it down the opposition noses and then they say they don't get the respect they deserve!! Dream on you lot, you'll never get any respect until you earn it and you're a long way from that at the moment!

Very happy we got CL football next year but this season has been a little embarrassing for UTD fans.
De Gea IMO saved us this season.

I made this point last night, but for arguments sake let's say we get 4th and then get beat in the qualifier for CL. So we end up getting Europa League football.
Many people seem to be saying job done for LVG, but if CL football next season is the goal and we don't qualify isn't that job not done?

SAF won the title with a poor squad during his final season and we lost another title just on GD.
Last year your manager complained chelsea horse needed more milk for winning PL never mind CL.
Last season even liverpool horse out ran you.
Reality is City is not who they where two years ago, we are rebuilding, arsenal are steadily progressing.
Our 4 to 5 thousand away fans are more noisier than the whole 40000 odd stamford bridge crowd all season long.

While I agree that belfastchelsea is an embarassment for us other Chelsea fans, I don't agree with the fact that guys like Fabregas and Hazard want to rub it down the opposition's noses. Why would you say that? Is it something I've missed? Honest question.

How can you disagree with what gds said and also call it embarrassing celebrating 4th, some people need to get off there high horse and give there head a shake.
We are not the only side in the league, other sides spend as much if not more on top players nowadays and are gunning for the top 4 places.

Ed - He said he wants to win the league and expects to. The board said 3rd, so they could assure sponsors etc of CL football. 4th place doesn't do that, I am just making a point that most people seem to be ignoring. It's like saying 3rd place in the Championship are in the PL before they play the playoff final. Valencia, Leverkusen, Napoli, Marseille, Braga/Sporting Lisbon, Besiktas (not sure whether 3rd or 4th in some of the lesser leagues), all could be who we meet I think.
In fact if there is a difference it is worse because we will make all the plans for being in the CL and there is a fair chance we could be in the Europa. Who knows how this effects negotiations commercially and with prospective signings. Who knows who we will draw, but the very fact there is one more very important stage to get through shouldn't be ignored by the optimist brigade.
I will try and be up beat I promise, but this obvious problem is being ignored and until we are in the group stages this season has been an epic failure in every department for me.

Yeah it's never the best to see fans invading the pitch, suppose it'd have been much better if one of our players who were not playing in the game but were in attendence, had their club suit on then just after full time ran onto the pitch in their full kit, celebrating like they'd just bagged their teammates girlfriend.

BelfastChesea - don't take any notice mate folk have short memories on this page. Chelsea were awesome first half of the season but if you read this page over the past 2 months you would think the dreary LVG start didn't exist.

Very solid team with quality in the key areas and tactically sound too. there's not many weaknesses either and with a couple signings this summer they'll be there or there abouts next year again. I do expect us, Arsenal and perhaps City to close the gap next season tho.

You have a manager who can match anyone when it comes to tactics.
Your recruitment policy is superb.
Next season will be a different story imo I see a very interesting battle between our managers also it seems that the players we will bring in will be sorted very early on giving us a good bedding in period and in MY opinion we will come out on top above all I cannot wait til next season it's going to be a slobberknocker!!

Boring to watch and no matter how much mourinho goes on about the English game been played in the right way his chelsea lot really push them boundaries having said that up until about January chelsea were miles ahead of everyone. It is a worry for English football in generall that our best team only got to the last 16 in Europe.

Chelsea were excellent in first half of the season and arsenal and United have been excellent in the second half. So bodes well for next year.
It was worrying how easily Chelsea were beaten by PSG. And even more worrying how easily were beaten by barca. So I don't think any of the sides in the PL are exceptional.
Hope that changes soon as real, barca and bayern are well ahead of the PL sides at present.
Jmb no one forgot about the start we had to the season, the 50 odd injuries,the introduction of a new manager and 6 new players. But that's what happened and 6 months down the line we started playing much better and we're showing signs of coming back to the level we want to be. Can you not give it a break with lvg or are you never going to give the manager and players credit for the way they have performed and especially the last three months!!

Jmb - why is nearly every post turned into a dig at lvg. The post was to rate this years title winners yet lvg gets a dig yet again.
We all know the first half of the season wasn't great but regardless we have been in the top 4 for months

if there was one chelsea player the fans would have no problem leaving the squad it was matic, sloppy lazy and not to good on the ball, we supporters watch every game our team plays like yourselves, and he was the only player i found myself shouting to get took off, maybe it was the way he was asked to play at chelsea? maybe he will do it for yourselves, we will see.
