Guess I will not be eating humbke pie re Dybala who will not be joining UTD lol.

maxlfc

1.) 04 Aug 2019 19:48:27
Hey Max,

Well done on your win today.

Oh. wait. you lost.

Signs of things to come.

2.) 04 Aug 2019 20:03:31
Atleast you have something to celebrate today max.

3.) 04 Aug 2019 20:04:25
I bet UTD supporters will throw a bus parade drawing 1-1 after 90 minutes and then winning the Charity Shield via penalties, a friendly match.

4.) 04 Aug 2019 20:13:20
Or a pitch invasion after beating Tranmere rovers 6-1.

5.) 04 Aug 2019 20:18:32
It was a walker goal line clearance away from being a really important trophy though Max wasn’t it. Bet you were one of them biting their nails in the shootout, one trophy in 7 years, can’t blame you lot really.

6.) 04 Aug 2019 20:23:56
Why would Utd throw a bus parade? we didn't win the charity shield.

7.) 04 Aug 2019 20:57:41
Max

Funny how it's a 'friendly' match now that you have lost.

Had you won, you would be on here gloating, first trophy of the season.

You have won 1 trophy and you have an open top bus parade.

You better hope you win more this year, coming on here to troll is going to make you look even more foolish when normal service resumes and it takes you another 7 years to win a trophy.

One question how many trophies have we won in the same period?

8.) 05 Aug 2019 12:46:22
United live rent-free in max's head.

03 Aug 2019 16:17:52
Yeah straight swap between Lukaku and Dybala when Dybala will pretty much be earning as much as Sanchez.

The logic of some.

maxlfc

1.) 03 Aug 2019 16:42:26
Why does it even matter? We don't know what he will earn other than what the papers say. We get it you don't approve. But he's not signing for Liverpool so why do u care?

2.) 03 Aug 2019 16:48:33
So you have gone from dybala isn't coming to utd to juve will want a transfer fee to the wages are the big fee in about an hour. Let me save you the trouble and post your next dybala prediction Dybala is another sanchez.

3.) 03 Aug 2019 16:47:26
Wow, someone's got their knickers in a twist.

Funny, I would have thought a genuine title challenge and a UCL win would have the scousers feeling pretty good about life.

Yet there are still some who feel threatened by us even in our present state. We start signing a couple of players and suddenly 30 years seems like a very long time🤣🤣🤣.

4.) 03 Aug 2019 17:05:05
Dybala will be another Sanchez.

LFC wanted Sanchez and he picked London over the likes of Liverpool. FACT!

No point in offering a player earth shattering wages when he is going to be on holiday eating up funds and leaving with his best interests.

Sanchez moved to England to be in London. Money walks, BS talks.

5.) 03 Aug 2019 17:12:02
Is this like a dozen posts now. The guys seriously worried.

Maybe he realises that his teams the one to drop out the top 4 this year.

6.) 03 Aug 2019 17:12:48
UTD acting big in the transfer window paying more for Maguire than what we did for VVD after tapping him up!

Maguire going to be the best CB this coming season lol. He ain't going to be. End of.

7.) 03 Aug 2019 17:20:06
Maxlfc,

Well you certainly do talk.

8.) 03 Aug 2019 17:27:32
So now you have moved on to maguire. Someone is really pissing their pants.

9.) 03 Aug 2019 17:31:10
De do do don't de😂.

{Ed025's Note - you missed a doe on the end there simon, i dont think you speak fluent scouse mate.. :)

10.) 03 Aug 2019 17:31:14
We're all rooting for you Maxlfc. Maybe this year will be your year 🤞.

11.) 03 Aug 2019 22:24:12
Max signs petitions for champions League finals to be replayed and phones talksport demanding a trophy for finishing second.

12.) 03 Aug 2019 20:24:44
Ed025 missed one off, cheers la proper boss that like.

{Ed025's Note - sound as a pound kidder..

13.) 04 Aug 2019 12:38:21
We need the guy who does the football impressions lol, calm down, calm down lol 😁.

14.) 04 Aug 2019 12:18:55
My joke didn't go up ed025.

{Ed025's Note - i only seen the last one mate..

03 Aug 2019 14:03:27
Think some on here forget that Dybala most likely is a much more 'valuable' player than Lukaku.

Swap deals are not very common. UTD are going to be forking out mega loads in excange of Lukaku for Dybala. Not that difficult to understand. Juve will be rubbing their hands.

You would have been better off selling Lukaku to Inter and not ending up with Dybala who does not actually want to leave Juve. Think this has been explained before.

But anyway, looking forward to seeing the comedy of errors folding out with UTD's transfer 'strategy'.

maxlfc

1.) 03 Aug 2019 14:24:18
Your the biggest comedy by spending time on the UTD page then your own page.

Infact i smell fear as rivals are now coming on to our page for comments because they are scared qe are on our way back to the top.

Stick to your own page and pray that your front 3 don't get injured.

2.) 03 Aug 2019 14:27:34
Gee max thanks for the advice. Remind us when Liverpool last won the League. You seem to have an obsession with United, a bit like that Oddbod Arsenal fan who is always on the Spurs page. You’re a closet United fan aren’t you.

3.) 03 Aug 2019 14:27:37
Your clearly rattled with all these posts.

4.) 03 Aug 2019 14:39:41
Nah mate, Juve will have a valuation on Dybala and if it exceeds the price for Lukaku, which probably does then anyone thinking of swap deals and the likelyhood of a swap deal need to think again.

Juve will be the winners if a swap deal involving Lukaku and Dybala comes to for.

5.) 03 Aug 2019 14:49:17
Max we’ve always been the bigger club even in our dark days of the 70’ and 80’s. Highest average attendances from the 80’s til today but were all glory hunter cockneys. This will be Salah’s and Mane’s last season so you sure better make it your year, where have we heard that before.

6.) 03 Aug 2019 14:53:37
I hope you mail this to paratici since you are so concerned because he seems to be valuing both players similarly.

7.) 03 Aug 2019 15:27:06
Dybala apparently has a release clause of over 200 million Euro's.

If UTD want Dybala then do not expect Juve to roll over in exchange for Lukaku.

Juve will expect UTD to pay for Dybala in exchange for Lukaku. Anyone thinking it will be a straight swap Lukaku for Dybala are living in la la land.

Dybala will cost much more than Lukaka if UTD wanted to purchase Dybala outright. Get with the times.

This is not Football Manager on PC.

8.) 03 Aug 2019 15:41:22
What about on Mac?

9.) 03 Aug 2019 15:49:01
The only guy who is in lala land right now is you mate, DiMarzio, Agresti, Pedulla are saying its a straight swap, so maybe it's you who needs to stop playing FM on pc and accept the reality.

10.) 03 Aug 2019 16:14:59
Apart from juventus came to us and offered dybala in a swap.

Why are you so scared of us signing dybala?

11.) 03 Aug 2019 16:15:21
Maxlfc, i would like to think I'm a fair minded and realistic poster, I'm neither ngative nor carried away by our team as it stands. However, it is Juve who are driving the dybala transfer. They want him out.
If we're talking about skill level, dybala wins, but Lukaku has other attributes and scores goals regularly and especially for Belgium.
Only time will tell, but my preference will be Fernandes as i watched a lot last year and he's very gifted and knows where the goal is.
And finally, i think you've missed the boat as you did get the rub of the green with last minute goals and injuries last year, it'll be a lot closer this year.

12.) 03 Aug 2019 16:15:23
Straight swap my behind. Even Ed002 will confirm la la land if it was a straight swap.

13.) 03 Aug 2019 16:31:10
You lot clutcing at straws thinking Rashford will get you 20 plus this season in the League.

In fact, name any of your forwards that will.

14.) 03 Aug 2019 16:41:33
Max,

United are strengthening, buying good young players that will be around a while and now have been given the opportunity to sign another player.

And here you are whining and crying like a little child.

Jealous that you have made no signings and next year will lose your best players.

You were very lucky last season and I rarely believe in luck, but you got it, you played awful in some games and won, there were plenty more you shod have lost if not for your best player tripping over his own feet and getting awarded a penalty, or a last minute deflected goal even though your player was offside.

You won a trophy, finally, enjoy it, you may not win one again for a while.

An injury to Salah and Van Dijk and you are a mid table team.

Go cry elsewhere please, your banter is crap.

15.) 03 Aug 2019 16:59:49
Jonny, the players you have signed including the most expensive CB ever lol going to see you making strides into the top 4?

16.) 03 Aug 2019 17:01:37
If we "lose our best players" we will have the resources to replace them and advance. Just like when we lost Suarez, Gerrard to retirement, Coutinho, Sterling and Torres. We have a world class manager who I believe would ride out the wave.

I think saying without VVD and Sarah we are mid table is a "bit" naive. For example, it was Alisson who helped us with a lot of saves in the final and semi-final. TAA and Robertson also ripped Barcelona to pieces. Just face it, we have a very good side now.

We probably could and should have signed another forward, but we didn't - hopefully that won't cost us. United will be much improved if they can pull off the Maguire signing and Fernandes and Dybala. Bissaka in my opinion will improve you immensely.

17.) 03 Aug 2019 17:33:09
Maybe Max, maybe.

Season hasn't even started and the Scousers are already in here whinging like babies.

I have never been to the Liverpool page, so why are you here?

Jealousy I imagine.

Charity shield tomorrow, hopefully you get stuffed by the Premier League Champions, something you haven't been. but this year is your year. right?

18.) 03 Aug 2019 17:49:28
I am not whining. I am just being honest.

Neither have I come on here saying LFC will win the League this season.

Some on here posting crazy stuff like you will win the League this season.

Those posters have to be trolls!

19.) 03 Aug 2019 18:11:01
Being honest.

You are trolling us and we are biting.

Honest you are not.

03 Aug 2019 12:55:16
Anyone on here thinking Dybala is going to take a step down playing in the Europa League, moving to Manchester is laughable. UTD sitting with Sanchez, probably the highest wage earner in the League lol. I will eat the humble pie served to me should Dybala move to UTD.

Not even Mourinho wanted the UTD job but left with a massive bank account balance.

Maguire now the most expensive CB ever as well, cough cough.

Bruno Fernandes now not only being chased by Spurs but also Madrid. Only a massive offer fee and wage wise now going to beat the competition for his signature.

UTD should have taken the offers for Pogba from Madrid and Lukaku from Inter and run. Both these players want out, it ain't a secret. Why keep them? Could have signed replacements by now. Might just be a little too late. Let's see *evil laugh*.

May get shot down for posting this but not far from the truth.

maxlfc

1.) 03 Aug 2019 13:08:11
Disappointed over Liverpool’s lack of businesses, or a little nervous of the signings we have made/ have in progress? Either way something brings you to this page.

Looking forward to watching you eat Humble pie when Fernandes is linking up with Dybala next week.

2.) 03 Aug 2019 13:14:58
Can we please keep this post up until the dybala saga is done.

3.) 03 Aug 2019 13:16:20
Max I think you have just focused on the negatives and not looked at he positives. Hence that view of yours is incredibly unbalanced.

Dybala - wonderful player and I hope we sign him. Whether you agree or not, we are still Manchester United. One of the biggest clubs in the world. Yes we may have had a rough few years, but we are still a massive attraction for anyone. I think the post smacks of desperation tbh. If dybala does join and showcases his potential then we are contenders imo. He has that much talent. Let’s see what happens.

Mourinho - he’s gone now and no point in discussing him. As ed said, it was a bad move for both parties so I don’t see why you’ve brought him up.

Maguire - I must admit he wouldn’t be my first choice and he’s not worth that fee, but I actually think he is a very good signing. Our defence is looking the strongest it has looked in years. As they say, every title winning side is built from the back. We have a real foundation to spring off. I think rival fans are starting to see that. It will take time, but at last we have the makings of a solid defence.

Bruno - we will sign him. I don’t believe the papers saying real are interested. He’s a wonderful player and is exactly what we are missing in midfield. Heck he’s exactly the sort of player you need to take your side to the next level. You’d chop your left hand off to have him in your side.

Pogba and Lukaku - I agree that we should have got rid of both early. But here we are. Let’s see what happens.

Positives - clearly a fitter and higher energy style of play. Some fantastic youngsters too. I back us this season to surprise a few.

Your team - you have a fantastic team. Pains me to say but you are a great watch. But take that from 3 out and you are average imo with a lack of squad depth. that's where you will struggle this year. Think you will be there or there abouts come May, but I expect city to win it.

It’s an intriguing season ahead! I don’t think out business is quite done yet. Maybe I’m in the minority, but I’m so excited for the season ahead as a united fan. Bring on next week.

4.) 03 Aug 2019 13:23:04
Max,

You're on the wrong page mate.

The " we haven't won the league in 30 years" page is that way --->.

5.) 03 Aug 2019 13:28:25
LFC do not need to rebuild a squad.

If UTD can win the CL this coming season then it will be a pat on the back. Oh wait, Thursday night football.

6.) 03 Aug 2019 13:29:47
He is signing for one of the world's biggest clubs.

7.) 03 Aug 2019 13:50:15
You've a good first 11 but lack depth. You got lucky last season with injuries. Also VAR will hit you this season. A few less lucky wins like at Bournemouth etc.

8.) 03 Aug 2019 13:58:49
Max it’s took you 30 years to have a superior team. We’ll be back but believe me it won’t take 30 years. Fancy coming to the Utd museum you’ll see something very special, you know the premier league trophy.

9.) 03 Aug 2019 14:09:35
Jonny, kerching! Off you go Max, back to your 30 year anniversary party.

10.) 03 Aug 2019 14:17:28
LFC have not won the League in ages, that is for sure. You want me to lie about that?

Reason is that LFC were run like UTD is being run now. Scatterbrain, all over the show, no direction and no idea of how to get out of the hole LFC found themselves in.

LFC are finally on the right track again.

UTD will never be the same again since Fergie retired.

Time to face reality.

11.) 03 Aug 2019 14:18:31
@maxlfc
2013-14 Klopp Finished second behind Guardiola's Bayern.
2014-15 Klopp fought relegation and finished 7th.

same pattern 2018-2019 Klopp finished second behind Pep.
2019-2020 LFC fight relegation and finish 10th may be?

12.) 03 Aug 2019 14:36:43
LFC to fight relegation lol.

Pretty sure UTD fans will be happy with that.

Ole going to need to step it up concerning your form League wise towards the end of the season that has just passed.

The gap between 10th and 4th is closing at a rapid pace with the 'smaller' teams on the up and at this point, UTD are in the mix with the 'smaller' teams. No disrespect by the way.

13.) 03 Aug 2019 15:51:22
What I have mentioned is based on Klopp's track record not my prediction. It was Klopp who fought relegation as Dortmund Manager in such a inferior league and stayed even bottom of the table for some time before improving in February. Both Liverpool and City may be better equipped to win PL at the moment but they are not 1970 Brasil to be totally unbeatable.

14.) 03 Aug 2019 15:50:41
The only positive about this post is that you didn’t start with “Liverpool fan in peace” before the incessant drivel.

01 Aug 2019 18:20:56
How do you all feel about Spurs offering CL football for Fernandes?

Not trying to take a dig. Just putting it out there.

maxlfc

1.) 01 Aug 2019 18:30:43
Bruno Fernandes was the one I wanted us to sign most so would be disappointed tbh but we don't seem to have offered anything or anything acceptable so if Spurs nip in and do a deal then fair play, I'd prefer Bruno to Dybala tbh and I'm not convinced we will get Dybala either.

2.) 01 Aug 2019 18:35:42
What ever will be will be max. No point getting in a hot sweat about it can't buy everyone. Makes spurs more dangerous to you and city if he joins there though. Its going to be a interesting week.

3.) 01 Aug 2019 18:48:38
If United lose out on Fernandes due to dragging our feet in negotiations then it's our loss. He's a player who would vastly improve our midfield.

Spurs midfield next season could be fantastic with N'dombele, Eriksen (if he stays), Fernandes, Alli, Winks and Sissoko all vying for a spot.

4.) 01 Aug 2019 19:14:40
If spurs have come in then it may give us the kick we need to get it done.

Madrid have been making sensible offers for Pogba throughout this window.

UTD think they can get more with very little other clubs being able to afford him.

Only a few clubs or so at the over inflated fee and wages able to afford Pogba which sees UTD keeping a player who wants to leave *evil laugh*.

Barcelona not going to sign Pogba.

And just remember, just because Conte wants Lukaku does not mean Inter will sign him at an inflated fee. Conte does not have control of transfers at Inter and they can go sing another one of their targest for a lesser fee and lesser wages.

The worl does not revilve around UTD, espicially how they have been more than mediocre in the the transfer windows of late and still continue to be lol.

You lot make me laugh.

We do not want to sell Lukaku when he does not even fit into your playing style under Ole.

Pogba is earning massive wages too so if UTD are planning on getting rid which I am sure they are otherwise Madrid would not be hounding UTD then it will either be stick or twist.

If any of you think Lukaka is worth more than what UTD paid for him, include his wages Inter would need to pay then really, you will be stuck with a player which Ole will have on the subs bench.

UTD as ED002 has explained are throwing money around and not actually fixing the problem.

If Lukaku and Pogba stay then you will have two players on hand holding all the cards.

Beggars belief.

maxlfc

{Ed004's Note - I never got the chance to reply at the weekend but your arguments make no sense. Youve definitely come on here to get a rise from people which is a shame because we had examples of posters from other clubs coming on and enhancing debates and improving the site for it to be quickly reversed}

Right so Palace had to give into UTD for wanting more for Bissaka than what they got for him?

Do you realise that Madrid and Inter are not Crystal Palace?

Pot kettle black.

Perisic is still at Inter so makes no difference as nobody willing to pay what Inter have asked for him otherwise he would have left them already. I am sure they would still be willing to let him go but no takers at the price they want so makes your comment about Perisic void.

Neither Lukaku or Pogba have been ripping out trees at UTD.

If Lukaku had gotten the golden boot last season and Pogba won player of the year then show me the money.

What Joao Felix went for has got absolutely nothing to do with this as you or I have no idea what the finer details were such as clauses in his contract when wanting to purchase him.

Lukaku is not worth nowhere near what UTD paid for him. You think City will pay what UTD are requesting for Lukaka even if they were interested in signing him, any other side as a matter of fact when there is very little interest.

This isnot like signing Pepe who will go for one hell of a fee once somebody signs him as just about every top club has an interest in Pepe.

maxlfc

{Ed004's Note - Pogba was our top goal scorer, top assister, covered most ground, got most motm awards for utd last season, most passes, most dribbles etc so to say hes not ripped up trees a year after winning the world cup is a bit of an odd statement. Lukaku at age 25 is his national sides top goal scorer and I think already in top 10 premiership goal scorers (if not he would be within a season or two). My point on Perisic was that Inter werent willing to negotiate a deal with Utd so why should Utd act any differently in negotiations? It was noted that perisic also wanted the move so identical situations. If both stay they will both have big impacts in our side next season. If utd just did as we were told by opposition fans we would have paid 75 million for Wan Bissaka and sold Lukaku for 50 million. Lukaku will most likely go for around 70 and we got Wan Bissaka for 45 million.

Im still confused as to your argument about City? Seems a pretty pointless line. Also you contradict yourself there with Felix point. We arent allowed to charge money for Pogba and Lukaku cause they had off seasons (Pogba didnt) but Felix after 6 months going for 120 mill is ok because we dont know his clauses - except there were no clauses and Atletico just activated his buyout clause}
