I'll throw this out there again as an alternative name to those mentioned for when Carrick is finally dismissed (only 5 more games until international break ?)
Kieran McKenna
Knows the club
Plays a similar game to Amorim
Young enough to stay the course (if the club learn from past mistakes)

No please not no experience again, surely can't keep going down this road of gambling . Retirement home for ex players and coaches now!
I would ordinarily say not a chance but with idiots running the club who knows.

"knows the club" is what is hurting us.

Its a resounding no from me.

Why is it so important that the manager/head coach knows the club? Not worked out that well for us so far!
We already have a manager who is championship level, don't need to replace him with another.
We were promised best in class. Well the best managers and coaches out there have no history with United, and I'm fine with that. Just get the best person for the job.

JBR
McKenna would be beyond Moyes level stupidity.

The problem is that most managers worth their salt are not interested in the gig and why would they be? Not only is it currently a players graveyard but also one for managers.
