Probably ckick bait, but talk of Barcelona swapping Casado for Rashford, anybody know if he's any good. I think we were linked to him before.

Not seen that many games he’s played. Maybe about 3 or 4. but, he’s said to be well rated and similar in style to Busquets.
Asked my Barcelona living relative and apparently he doesn’t want to leave Barca, but if the chance is there United should take it. He’s only young and still developing but has every chance to be a very, very good player. But would he want to swap Barcelona for Manchester?

The Rashford narrative is an interesting one. Reports today stating Carrick wants him back if he gets the gig. I can imagine other coaches might do too (Tuchel for example) . It’ll cost £60-80m to replace him plus wages for an equivalent player for the squad. Money the Rat pack won’t want to spend, and being squeezed by Barcelona hardly a good look for the club.
If definetky take him back after his “sabbatical”.

Taking Rashford back would be the biggest sign that all the good work I thought we were taking to achieve stability and players with the right attitude has been undone.

The difference between those three is Rashford is a good player though. I can’t disagree though about it might be a step back, especially if he affects morale in the dressing room!
But Barcelona have no cash, so let’s see what happens.

Fortunately I think Rashford does not want to come back.
Maybe this is part of the deal going on in the back ground with Barcelona trying to get Rashford cheaper than what was agreed and the club saying, fair enough we will take him back then. If you want him pay the price.

It's well recognized at Barcelona that Rashford is not a good defensive player. They want to keep him notwithstanding. The EPL is a different place. Every player has to put in a competent defensive shift when required.
Look at Amad today. He worked really hard supporting Dalot and Mazraoui. Rashford costs us £15m a year, Zirkzee maybe £12m a year. Which would we prefer? I'd probably go with Rashford, but ideally I'd like to see both of them move on.
