Spurs' new signings making a big early difference?
Wharton unable to deal with Cherki, who really has great control in tight spaces.
Liverpool still struggling but all will be well for them when they get their next £100m+ signing up and running.
The Champions League draw offers no cake walk. We really need to at least make it through to the play off round.
It's been a rather ominous first week of the season. We can only hope that we put on a good show tomorrow against a team who will surely park the bus and hope to catch us on the counter. We've not shown much aptitude for breaking down low blocks.

I think Ipswich will come to attack after seeing us against Hull. Most teams will surely know we are weak defensively.
If you watch the series The Obsession, it shows how City have planned to rebuild. Cherki is a good example of how they identified the right players to build the next team.
Also, they expect the current team to grow and mature. No short termism. Proper planning. They will challenge for the title this year, and be close, but next year will be better.

Looks like the season might be as fragmented as it was last year.
Sounds weird, but we are already in must win territory against Ipswich.

Grim, can you imagine the pressure on Carrick if we lose to 2 newly promoted teams?
It's madness, but this is a must win game.

Stevie, you will be pleased to hear Richarlison is furthering his career, with another payday coming his way.
Spurs have agreed a deal with Everton for Iliman Ndiaye, and in a 'separate' deal, Richarlison is returning to Everton.
So that will take Spurs up to about £400m spending this summer.
I believe Daniel Levy has been rushed to hospital, having had about 6 heart attacks!!

IWOTB, my Everton brother-in-law is tearing what's left of his hair out.
Probably as much for Richarlison coming back as losing Ndiaye! ?
I just don't get him. Always strikes me as one of those guys with an attitude where they think they're a lot better than they actually are.

Can understand why!
Thought we might try and go for Ndiaye, on record as saying he wanted to play for us. He is a good player and had front line flexibility, so could have covered a number of positions.
Seemingly a fee of £60m, decent value in today's market.
You need to try and re-educate your brother in law!
