Mount missing from training yesterday, he was our best player in preseason, giving much needed energy and high tempo to our play. It was very visible in recent games when that high tempo was lacking. I find it a surprise that we are now selling Collyer, probably the best of the younger lads, with premier experience too.
I can only assume they have a player coming in, think it will be Baleba, he wants to join according to media, a good age and the profile we need.

Now we are looking to sign Baleba. I don't know if we can do a deadline day deal to sell Mount.
His wages are astronomical in relation to how much he is actually available.
Reunion with Amorim or Lampard, maybe.

Mount ought to consider a move aboard for sure. He'd be amazing in Italy or Spain, and the slower pace would hopefully suit his fragile frame more.

It's becoming a joke now.
The problem is, who is going to buy a player on 200 grand plus a week who has an injury record like he does.
Another cock up from the people in charge during that period at Man United.
We will be stuck with him now until his contract runs out.

Mount is a bonus, that's how he should be viewed.
If we can get 25+ games out of him, that would be brilliant.

I would be surprised if we could move Mount on without swallowing most of his salary. Unfortunately, no team can plan for him as a key player, which is a shame as on his day, he is quality.
With the 3rd midfielder coming in, it allows for Mount to be used sparingly as a rotational option or in the cup competitions.
It could be that he is also used as cover for Bruno. Either way, I expect him to be here for the season.
