Bit of fun for the group. We’re knowingly in the market for a LW/Left sided forward.
If it was a choice of only the below two, would you rather:
A) Keep Rashford.
B) Sell Rashford and re-sign Garnacho.

That's a horrible question Eric, you're a sick man ?. Rashford if that was the ONLY choices!
17 Jul 2026 08:11:52
Neither is the correct answer; however, of the two, keep Rashford.
Garnacho has completely lost his way, and has become the driver of the noise coming out of the club. I think he needs to go to Spain/Italy and rebuild.

Eric, your question is wrong, nevermind the answer. :P
17 Jul 2026 11:21:49
Would only buy Garnacho back if we do that thing that Dortmund do when they sell a player for 50m plus and then sign them back for a fiver once they have flopped.

That vomiting scene from Team America was nearly recreated after reading that one. Good work, Eric!!
17 Jul 2026 12:51:44
Oh, Eric, today's an awful choice.
Both players disrespected the fans, their coaches, their team mates, the jersey, and the club, and neither want to be at United, so it's not worth having either of them at United.
I'm not a 'forgive and forget' type of person after sustained and deliberate offences.
One-off or a couple of incidents can be got over, but not sustained attempts to disrupt and stuck 2 fingers up.
Not once has Rashford said he wants to come back; he has tried to force the club to his will.
If he makes a public apology for all his past actions, and asks the fans and club to forgive him, and states he has changed and will apply himself, then he imo would be a better portion than Garnacho.
Bottom line is, Rashford has a contract, so he can stay if he wants, but I personally wouldn't have him near the squad until he has made a very public apology.
That won't happen.
He costs 1.25 million per month, so I'd pay him, but leave him out of the squad for the season and training alone.

I'd definitely go with Rashford. I know he behaved badly, but I also think he must have become extremely disillusioned by the direction the club was going with both Ten Hag and Amorim. He's not a wing back. He doesn't have the defensive qualities or the work rate. But he could be useful in a 4-4-2 or a 4-3-3.
The lack of interest in him by top clubs must surely have given him a bit of a reality check, especially losing his place in the England team to Gordon, who also replaced him at Barca.
There would have to be some serious heart-to-heart conversations, but if Carrick and the management team think his career could be salvaged at OT, then I'd give him the opportunity over Garnacho.

Rashford has many qualities that we've all witnessed.
Garnacho is a spoiled brat who thinks he's as good as Ronaldo. He has now been dropped by two top clubs because he isn't good enough.

Shag Rashford.
Marry Maguire.
Avoid Garnacho.
17 Jul 2026 14:51:55
Too much Love Island for you, Danny. ?
17 Jul 2026 16:35:26
I would sell Rashford for the cost savings, then loan Garnacho out to cover wages. Go reinvest the Rashford money.
17 Jul 2026 16:42:05
Shag Daley Blind.
Marry Daley Blind.
Declare undying love for Daley Blind.
In terms of the choice, I'd rather have Ralph Milne back.
17 Jul 2026 17:19:54
Eric, I think you are so far in the minority in your support for Rashford.
Each of us has different tolerance levels, so I understand it. If you support the way he has behaved on and off the pitch and think it's ok, and think he is worth the money, I can't agree with your point of view on it at all.
17 Jul 2026 21:10:50
Jadon Sancho.
17 Jul 2026 21:23:21
Apologise for what exactly. The club gave him the contract; he did not force them. The club appointed Ten and Ra, who wanted something from Rashford that is not in his locker. He was disillusioned with the direction of the club, as we all were.
Ra or Ten did not have to pick him for the team, leave him on the bench if that is what they wanted. You have no idea what they had asked him to do or how to play, but they kept picking him, so that tells me he was doing what he was instructed to do.
18 Jul 2026 16:27:53
No excuses for Rashford. It does not matter if they asked him to play in a tutu; he should be giving his all. There are no excuses for his attitude.
The club needs to put him in a separate area.
I repeat what I said earlier, if Carrick accepts him back, it sends the wrong message, and Carrick has to be seen as weak. He would try for less than 10 games and bring the rest down.
18 Jul 2026 16:33:26
Despite my Rashford love in, I'd take Garnacho back instead if he ate a huge dose of humble pie.
