First World Cup overreaction.

The wee number 6 for Morocco, Bouaddi looks a tidy wee player.

18, but plays with the composure of a much older player.

Lille do bring through some good young players.

Ronnie is enjoying himself, God Bless his soul.

Utd have been linked with him. If he continues to play like this, his value will go through the roof.

There was a queue of clubs lining up for him already, Stevie. He genuinely looks class. I was thinking of how well he'd work alongside Manioo. Plus, I'm a sucker for a big mop of bouncy curls. It made me nostalgic for Fellaini.

He played well last night. All over the pitch, always available, good tekkers.
Very young too.
I'd like to see a lot more of him play.
EPL is very different, of course, but he looked very tidy indeed on last night's showing.

It seems Arsenal are in contact with Lille and are discussing a transfer. Liverpool are seemingly also interested, PSG as well, and we have been linked with him.

A lot of love for him, a good tournament, and a big move will certainly follow.

He needs to go and buy a wheelbarrow for himself, to carry away all the money coming his way.

Let's wait & see. One swallow doesn't make a summer. It's one game, like one game for Casemiro, who had a stinker. Let's judge after half a dozen games before we start crying out for every player.

Yes, he played well, but let's see what happens.

There were lots of cries for Sancho, Antony and Onana, the list goes on. Let's see how it goes.

Je Suis...... Sensible comment..... Far too early to judge him, and how many great-looking World Cup players flop when in the Premier League.
Stoke on a wet winter night, anyone?

14 Jun 2026 21:52:43
Je Suis and Salford, this isn't really about one WC game. There's a reason that he's one of the most sought after young players in Europe, and seeing him command the midfield against Brazil in his first WC match shows that the hype is warranted. Particularly when you consider that he has only been part of the Moroccan team for less than two months.

This is a young lad that has been a key first team player since he turned 16, and really looks the part on the biggest stage. I suspect that every big club in Europe is looking at him.

14 Jun 2026 22:11:06
It's nothing to do with one game, his form over all of last season and his obvious high standards of technical ability are the reasons he is a player interesting many of the major clubs.

The stage he appeared on yesterday may well of brought him to the attention of many for the first time jsu, just because you know nothing of him you should not assume the same applies to others. Silly thing to say.

I would take far more notice of his performance against Brazil than against Stoke, those type of games are no more.

I don't watch as much football as I used to, and I've stopped playing Fm, so I'm not as up to date on the 'wonderkids' as I used to be. Unlike the rest of you, I'd honestly never heard of him.

It was my young lad who told me to watch out for him.

He knows a lot more about football now than I do.

Danny, I'm the same mate. Fellaini, Chong, Zirkzee. It's about time someone with lovely bouncy curls came along that's actually a decent player as well. ?

14 Jun 2026 23:52:45
Don't you dare bad mouth my Felli.

He had it all. Left foot, right foot, two arms with hands on the ends, and big old head with bouncy curls on top. Every single appendage required for the game of football on a single body!

About more than one game, where? In what league? How many games? Bit like the overreaction to Baleba, who had half a good season, and many wanted to pay 100 million for him last season.
Yes, the kid may be good, may even be great, but to want to buy every player who looks good in the first match of a tournament is an overreach by anyone's standards. You say all of EU is looking at him; that may be so, but it's also the case that none of those clubs have signed him up yet, so I would say they want to see more too.

If you're that great, like you seem to say he is, I am 109% confident he would be at one of those clubs already before he got the chance to shine and the price went up at a WC.
Like I say, he may even turn out to be great. Hopefully for him, he does.

The French League.
60-plus games in 2 seasons.
For the team that finished 3rd.

It's why the team that won the league and the last 2 Champions Leagues is currently trying to sign him.

It's why a World Cup semi-finalist promised him that he'd start for them if he changed national allegiance.

The more accurate comparison is Rooney. A young lad who got into his first team at a very young age.

He took his opportunity, cemented his position in the team, and showed that he could compete against anyone. Then, after two seasons, he got poached by the best team in the league.

It's not down to one game. He had a queue of top clubs looking to sign him this summer before he even declared for Morocco.
