I don't think its harsh at all spenno. Shaw has been a passenger for several years.
He looks trimmer and fitter in think that goes for all the team.
Im not sure where Shaw fits. It would be great if someone came in for him.
Decent player when fit and available as a lb but I'm not sure he had the capability to play lwb for prolonged periods.
A drain on finances for little or no return the epitome of a straggler.

TBF if he could only stay fit he could make LWB a regular starting place, he is better there than anything else we got, but he just can’t get a dozen games in a row, which is a shame, so hopefully someone comes in for him, but I can’t see it, so hopefully he stays fit, but won’t hold my breath
But when fit and a run of games under his belt he is a very good player.

To be fair to Shaw, if he’s injured, he’s injured. He suffered a horrendous leg break and although that was a long time ago, I suspect has impacted his career and contributed to the regular injuries he’s suffered and I don’t think it’s any secret United’s medical staff over this period have been pretty poor so perhaps he never got the support, treatment and recovery he needed. I like Shaw, I don’t think he’s a problem like some players but it’s frustrating that he’s on a big contract and we’ve never got our money’s worth from him.

To be fair Shaw nearly lost his leg playing for us. The mental and physical challenge that must have given him would have been immense.
Lots of ups and downs and perhaps weight issues. Stupid contracts by the previous idiots were not his fault.
Would be good if Saudi called, but if RA can keep his fire burning and away from the treatment table he isn’t an early name in the get rid list.

We have 2 wing backs in the squad who are much better than Luke Shaw would be there Maze, written Dorgu off already? He’s been fantastic in pre season.

If you’re directing that at me and you still got your fetish about Maze, but I will answer it…… I have not written Dorgu off, where have I said that? What I have said is if Shaw could Stay fit and get a good run of games under his belt he is probably better there than what we have in the squad, I can only go on what my eyes have seen and looking at performances I have seen from Shaw over the years and the performances I seen from Dorgu so far, Shaw is in front of him IF FIT and HEALTHY
Of course Dorgu might go on to be fantastic but he been anything but so far
Of course you can wear your red tints and say we have world beaters because they looked so great in preseason 3 games, that’s just you all over.
