The new name is Calvert-Lewin. So, yeah, that’s where the club is now.
Tbh I’d prefer we signed him on a free than splashed big money on someone like Hojlund. Still, though ?.

I wouldn’t mind Toney or Watkins. Both are prem proven. Sesko has the potential to be a top player as well and is presumably available at the right price, although I suspect we’ll end up with DCL instead and a new manager by Christmas.

I asked a genuine question, who is Plan c on the list of strikers. Delap and Gyökeres were seemingly serious contenders but have gone elsewhere.
If plan c is Calvert - Lewin, then the clubs done.

2toms, they both clearly have stated they only want to play for Manchester United, indeed Mbuemo has reportedly reduced his salary demands to achieve this, think it a bit disingenuous to say that.
You are the one who implied player's do not want to come to us and I think that to be wrong. There always has been, and always will be some who do not want to come, but Manchester United is and always will be a massive draw for many top player's.
You talk of plan C, who knows what that to be, moves for all these top striker's have yet to happen anyway, so let's see.
Why are you believing these stories re DCL? All that has happened is his agent has offered him to us, along with many other's. He tells the press and hey ho all sort's of nonsense get's printed, and the result is this ridiculous over reaction.
The situation is clearly fluid so we need to wait and see what actually happens. There may well be ultimate reason to complain, but deal with that when it happens.
