Just saw the rashford statement. wow! Nothing terrible in there but he admits he wants to go. Can anyone see him wearing red again? Why should he. for me he's done and hopefully we can arrange something in January to get him out the door. Best for all parties.

Any player saying he is looking for a new challenge should never wear the shirt again. Appalling to air that. Don’t let the door hit you on the rear on your way out.
I don’t want to see him wear that shirt again, I wanted him gone before but that attitude flags he should be gone on 1st Jan. No emotional last appearances, gone.

Yeah I see him wanting to go out with a bang. Say goodbye to OT and the fans with something memorable that leaves him in a good light.

I'm sure a lot of people won't agree, but at this point I'm glad he's just come out and said it. By saying he wants to leave, he must realise he won't get these wages elsewhere (apart from SA) .
Get the wages off our books, use them towards someone who has the stomach for a fight and actually wants to play for one of the biggest clubs in the world. We need more Amads and less Rashfords in this squad.

Its sad to see how it has turned out and best for all parties to go their own ways. I am not going to slag one our brightest talents that has come through the academy and a proper Manchester boy in the last 15 years and he has given us many great moments. He is a great talent and will have many takers contrary to some posts here.
It happens in all walks of life and many underlying factors why something that started so well ends sadly. Good luck to him and wish him the best.

Not sure he will have that many takers at all Ahmad. He may have admirers but not many that will part with the cash required. Personally I think his options will be limited outside a loan deal unless he lowers his wage demands and United stay realistic on his current worth.

He won't achieve his potential anywhere, btw he has bags of it, his attitude is all wrong, he's a modern day playboy. Even Oli had his card marked when he said, he should concentrate on his football more and leave the off-field distractions alone.
He and his playboy mate, Jesse Lingard, typify what is and has been so wrong at Utd for so long.
Far too rich, far too young, which is a modern-day football problem and not just at OT.

Ahmed, I don't know why you're so reluctant to slag him off. His behaviour has been appalling. He deserves all the critism that's going his way.

Mancman
Its not in my nature to hold grudges against people who make mistakes and he has made some. Happens everyday in life family, kids, friends and people at work. He has done a lot of good for the club and as person for underprivileged kids.
Most people who are very opiniated about him have never been within a mile of him and don't know him at all and just read stuff in the news and form an opinion.
Once he goes there will be the next guy people will go after and then the next one. Its the tribal nature of football culture.
I posted on the live chat I knew what was going on with rash a couple of weeks ago even before the news came out. There is a lot more to it and its good for both parties to find an amicable end and it will be done without a lot of the assumptions people are making. We will get a sizeable fee when he goes and he has a few options.
