Why is having concerns classed as moaning or throwing dummies out? If we're honest most of us had hardly heard of the lad Martial until Sunday. If De gea had gone yesterday is anyone telling me they would seriously be happy with what we would have had between the posts? Only through a complete fluke do we still have a world class keeper at the club albeit one who hasn't played all season as "his head isn't in the right place" but miraculously he's now ready to come back into the squad, i'd also be seriously narked if i was him. In a previous post i lauded the signings we made earlier in the window and don't have an issue with how much we pay for supposedly young world class talent, Pogba being the perfect example. Being a Manchester lad i will support my team through thick and thin but that doesn't mean i can't be disappointed from time to time and airing those views isn't being a spoiled brat who craves marquee signings in the same way as championing eveything the club does is looking at things through rose tinted glasses. (or is it?)

The De Gea and Valdes situation has been laughable, is Romero really the answer with Johnstone as number 2? I can't believe the arrogance of this manager.
Is it because we can't get the marquee signings he craves? So do your job and bring in some players that are better than the ones we have then manage and coach them into marquee players.

Van Gaal isn't the issue transfer wise. He wanted Otamendi and Pedro but those in charge of the purse strings decided they weren't prepared to pay the fees demanded by the selling clubs. The manager can't do anything aside from identify players he wants to buy. It's on the money men to bring them in.
Thankfully we have a host of supporters who think we'll do just fine this year with the current squad, so nothing to worry about if we don't do any business over the next two days.

It's actually well documented that we did enquire about Otamendi, but what we were willing to pay was miles off what Valencia's valuation.
And LVG's rapport with the existing players has very little to do with us not signing new players.

Schweinsteiger in the bag, Schneiderlin would no doubt be a good signing but maybe Van Gaal is going to put his faith in Herrera. I rate this lad ( waits for disgruntled murmurings ).
Also has anyone given any thought to the poor Megastore staff figuring out how not to get confused with the shirt printing if we get these two.

Agreed red i think Herrera will develop into a worldie if LVG put faith in him and plays him regularly. Midfield 3 of bastian Herrera and Mata is up there with the best midfields around imo
