Well LVG baffles me more and more each day. Can someone please tell me how we are expected to challenge in 4 competitions with a 22 man squad, 1 recognised first team striker, 3 recognised first team centre backs( 1 of which is always injured and another is not liked by the manager by the looks of it) and a goalkeeping situation which is up in the air with 1 goalkeeper thought to be an accident waiting to happen, 1 having been told to leave and 1 doing anything he can to leave. The only positions on our team that we should be happy and comfortable with are centre mid and full back. Everywhere else on the pitch is either a war zone between player and manager or an injury away from melt down!

Since Woodward has come in everything has been a complete mess. Literally handling every transfer and speech he has been terrible publically.

He said a few months ago We would strenghten all positions to challenge on all fronts. This squad will not do that.

I think LVG takes a lot of this responsibility to, as he is putting his name on the incomings and outgoings. Plus he seems to be falling out with a lot of people along the way like people did say he would do.

Interesting article on DMail today about LVG was 1 reason Di Maria became unhappy and left, says it all really about LVG.

LVG has focused on the positions we needed to strengthen and brought in some very good players BUT with the amount of outgoings it kinda counteracts his good work.
LVG knows more about management then me though so hopefully he knows what he's doing. HOPEFULLY.

Joe Kinnear was a football manager as well. Just because that is his job, it doesn't mean he is good at it.

I think ADM was using LVG as an excuse as to why he became unhappy. Let's face it, Ashley Young was performing better than ADM, why would LVG drop Young for ADM? Perhaps ADM's ego of being dropped in favour of Ashley Young wouldn't allow him to be happy?
